moonllum Posted Monday at 04:31 PM Posted Monday at 04:31 PM (edited) This song alone clears that **** insider's opinion about the album. Edited Monday at 04:31 PM by moonllum 8 1
Acuminatus Posted Monday at 04:34 PM Posted Monday at 04:34 PM Could this album be a more polished and streamlined version of Dead Petz? 6
JoeAg Posted Monday at 04:36 PM Posted Monday at 04:36 PM the stoner rock vibes of the title track?? I'm living! WE'RE LISTENING MILEY 2
despy Posted Monday at 04:42 PM Posted Monday at 04:42 PM 4:32 song length no tiktok appeal no radio appeal no gimmicks bringing jazz, rnb & rock into 1 track, experimenting yet again pure talentry MUVA IS HERE 14

Mhoum Posted Monday at 04:49 PM Posted Monday at 04:49 PM not sure how I feel about the title track. Dead Petz were my least favorite era of hers. we'll see what the full project will look like
jermgazitsang Posted Monday at 04:55 PM Posted Monday at 04:55 PM I love the direction, but the real single is coming this friday?
perfectillusion204 Posted Monday at 04:56 PM Posted Monday at 04:56 PM My personal theory is that Handstand was one of the last tracks made for ESV, and that's when she decided she wanted to work with Maxx on a whole project. It was a hint as to what was coming next, as Handstand is so left field compared to the rest of ESV. 2
Popboi. Posted Monday at 05:01 PM Posted Monday at 05:01 PM My only issue is that the vocals mixing is very... muffled, fire whoever mastered title track and the prelude Either way 1
BOAZ Posted Monday at 05:05 PM Posted Monday at 05:05 PM she's always bringing something interesting to the table, at the cost of not always managing to actually do it perfectly. but Miley ******* Cyrus will ALWAYS be that girl whatever she does. A true chameleon that follows her own path 5 3
Scars Posted Monday at 05:09 PM Posted Monday at 05:09 PM 2 minutes ago, Popboi. said: My only issue is that the vocals mixing is very... muffled, fire whoever mastered title track and the prelude That bothered me too, but it also kind of happened on Handstand, so maybe the blame here lies on Maxx. That said, I do think it doesn't take away from the overall gorgeousness of the song.

Maybe she inteded for the songs to sound like this 1
Scars Posted Monday at 05:20 PM Posted Monday at 05:20 PM The way the suburban wine moms that started stanning Miley after Flowers will be weirded out by this entire album oh, Miley, I'll be in the trenches for you!
sad girl Posted Monday at 05:20 PM Posted Monday at 05:20 PM i just listened with my studio speakers and jesus it sounds even better. i LOVE LOVE LOVE 1
FlyOnTheWall Posted Monday at 05:21 PM Posted Monday at 05:21 PM I think the vocal mixing is definitely intentional. At least to me the Jazz parts do sound actually pretty nicely mixed. Unlike UTBY which still irks me how off the vocal mixing is 4
Scars Posted Monday at 05:22 PM Posted Monday at 05:22 PM Am I the only that felt some similarities between some parts of SB and Mirror? 3

CottageHore Posted Monday at 05:29 PM Posted Monday at 05:29 PM Aside from the awful vocal processing they've been doing over her past two albums which completely stifles her resonant, powerful voice (wtf), this song is huge and is what I've been wanting from her for forever. She shines best when she gets to be weird and let her artistic side show.
