SEREBRO - '11'

Yeah, from what I understand they performed it once when they had very few songs. Same with Love Song. But for whatever reason, Max silently put out Love Song after all those years of waiting after the last line up ended.

Both Love Song and Red Light, alongside Прости - another long lost early Serebro track - were registered on a Russian music site in 2015 around the time Kiss came out. It's possible they were meant to come out for some reason around then but never did. So it's strange to me that Love Song has a place on that album and the other tracks don't, even as demos. Stranger still that Max never said why he released Love Song.

Love Song sucks lol.

I'm not too bothered on old material not coming out especially since to me, it seems they really found their perfect sound later on. Not that I don't enjoy the rock adjacent phase, but if it's anything like Love Song or some of the throwaway tracks from their debut, it's not much of a loss. Red Light is pretty great but their English lyrics are **** and always take me out of it.

  • Mess    Also not me looking up to see the new girls and one being an Elena clone

  • He knows how to pick them, that's for sure.  this one , a.k.a. Keiko / Daria Kuznetsova can also write songs - she even wrote of Maxim Fadeev's latest single "Salta". I think he mentioned before that

  • I hope the new line up is good and they don't get bullied into disbandment again

For me it's more that those songs will never see the light of day and they're just sat there waiting. I hate the idea of lost media, especially when there aren't any insiders or leakers with their stuff (that I know of). If it doesn't come from Maxim, then it's probably not ever coming. Although it has to be said that 'Intro' and an early version of 'Why' did leak many years ago. I'm not sure how.

You're right about their English lyrics though, it's crazy that the longer they went on, the less Olga seemed to be able to write English songs. I think with the exception of Kiss, maybe, the English songs were just gibberish.

Chocolate is probably 100% google-tranlsated, I still can't get over how bad that one is.

Yeah I quite like all the new demos.
I'm a Diva feels almost completely finished to me. Not sure why it didn't get released. Perhaps Mimimi took off more than they thought it would. It's nice to hear the 'golden' composition together one last time.
I feel like them not releasing it led to Olga creating Friday for her own album. Some lyrical and musical similarities to my ears.
