Rihinvention Posted September 8 Posted September 8 I think it's nearly impossible to be a one-hit-wonder in the age of social media. Once an artist breaks, their visibility is ever-present. The last person I can think of who was truly a one-hit-wonder was Natalie La Rose.

Not that the mixtapes were particularly great, but there's a few gems and they were a decent introduction to Rihanna. Tyla's album is H&M music with an African twist. I was gonna say she's giving Cassie for now, but Cassie's debut album actually ate. I'd definitely support her if she managed to inject more personality into the music and found her sound, she's obviously talented and drop dead gorgeous.

Tylas album is crititically acclaimed and is actually great for a debut album. It's listenable from start to end. I can't say the same about MOTS and AGLM.
