"why is anyone buying vinyl albums in general" should be the main discussion topic

She's so right and she's also a hypocrite.

Gen Z, which I'm a part of, just loves to virtue signal and Billie is no exception!

Vinyls are the poor man's art collection (I include myself in this sentence, please pre-save my new single at the link in my Instagram bio below)

The fumes in here lmao

She never said anything that she's gonna stop using variants. Her main point really is to make more of them using recyclable materials. Whether it will help the environment greatly is up to question but she is at least making an effort.

How does hers being made with recycled material change the fact that she's doing it for sales and money though? :suburban:

Saying this as if she didn't sell cassettes for What Was I Made For? at 99p for that UK #1 :coffee2:

Didn't this ***** release two recycled variants on top of the 6 normal variants as a gimmick so that her fans can collect all 8 versions...

If she cared about the environment so much she would only release the recycled **** and not release the extra 6 normal variants and loads and loads of perfume boxes that are sitting in every department store right now...

Can't believe I forget this joke of a merch sale.

People in glass houses really shouldn't throw stones.

throwing stones at the glass houses but she's not wrong tbh. I think unless you're an indie artist you shouldn't be having more than 2-3 versions of your album. vinyl is glorified merchandize after all

She did the cheapest things to sell, she is a money hungry popstar too.

Throwing paint on your vinyl just to sell more is on another level of greediness :rip:

Collabing with an overprice luxury brand to sell more is greedy
