Honestly, you could probably run anyone under 60 and they’d win in a landslide. Most people are just tired of the country being run by boomers (and some that are older than boomers). 

I don’t think Bernie will ever run again. I helped in his campaign twice when he was running for president. Both times he had major health scares/issues. Running for office takes a lot of work and traveling and it was a lot for Bernie to handle especially last one.
