You’re describing the extreme end of stan culture, which is seen in dozens of artists, including Ariana, Nicki, BTS, Gaga (when she was bigger and more musically active), etc.

The “incidents” involving Taylor include: her announcing an album, her bringing a collaborator on her album on stage while winning an award, and her looking incorrectly at the person handing her said award.
