Cameltoe Chariot Posted February 9 Posted February 9 (edited) I know I keep saying it but does anyone else see a direct mirroring of Elon Musk fanboys when you look at the way Swifties respond to ANY criticism of their fave? They always go with some kind of clapback that points out: 1. A figure, whether it's a chart placement, sales or income 2. You're just jealous 3. They own the world 4. Some sort of personal attack and it's always littered with laughing emojis and other troll imagery. They worship the success and domination of their billionaire fave, and feel somehow included in that experience because of their parasocial obsession. It's f*cking alarming, and this behaviour is ALL OVER this thread Edited February 9 by Cameltoe Chariot 8 7 3 3

Why are you here would be a more relevant question methinks If it’s something negative, you can ignore and stay in positive threads. You ain’t going to change anyones mind. 1

toxicgenie Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Taylor may not flop because her fanbase is big and stay streaming. But it does seem like she's on the path to become extremely polarizing. It reminds me of how Michael Jackson's career ended.
Blue. Posted February 9 Posted February 9 The follow up video where she goes full conspiratorial about Taylor being a psyop to cover a Joe Biden’s funded genocide, this is really who you want on your side 3

Ok then Taylor's over this was the last nail in the coffin of her dead career and public image. Is this what you want us to say and satisfy your hate boner? 1 1 2

Everything they say sounds like her lame Twitter clapback post to Netflix when their show made a joke about her 4 2

Orsay Posted February 9 Posted February 9 The gap between the swifties and the rest is widening she’ll be fine though, if anything it plays into her repTV stuff, her fans will just be like “OMG her minddd” 1

Feanor Posted February 9 Posted February 9 (edited) 10 pages over a TikTok. ATRL always going about Taylor's "safe" image when there's barely anyone who can create this much discourse or can get people so riled up by just… existing. Queen of controversy. Edited February 9 by Feanor 2

Also I think 1.3m likes and tons of comments with 100k likes saying “this is the Taylor content I want to see” speaks to something bigger than the stan/pop culture bubble. She’s just overexposed right now and a lot of people are tired of it. But you’re right that she’s still massively popular. Anyone thinking this stuff will lead to her downfall is delusional
