Titanbaddie Posted January 24 Posted January 24 I'm gonna ask a very fair question... do you guys interact with enough black people or R&B fans on a daily basis to be able to accurately answer this conversation, considering that's the demographic that most enjoys and cares about Usher? 3 3
UnusualBoy Posted January 24 Posted January 24 I can only speak for myself, I didn't even remember he was doing the halftime until few days ago lol. He'll pull a great show which is what matters.

PoisonPill Posted January 24 Posted January 24 I think he’s going to surprise a lot of people and outshine some of our faves. The man is the consummate live performer.
kendoll2001 Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Even if there isn’t as much hype as if he were to have done his SuperBowl halftime show 5-10 years ago, I think he’s going to do an amazing job and really impress everyone the day of. He’s always been of the greatest male performers

Lady Claire Posted January 24 Posted January 24 It must have on the straight world, no one cares for male artists other than Abel, Troye and Bruno on ATRL/stan Twitter so i barely see anyone talking about it
Felipesf Posted January 24 Posted January 24 I hope the performance gives his career a boost somehow. He's my favorite solo male artist.

AvadaKedavra Posted January 24 Posted January 24 (edited) If you want me to be honest i only watch the halftime show when a pop girl is performing. I even wait the whole game for them I didnt watch the weekend one or the hip hop one or the maroon five one. I saw the pictures and thats it. I will probably watch his halftime show later on youtube. Is Usher. He will probably give a great show. So, i will try not to ignore it like i did with the others. Edited January 24 by AvadaKedavra
besaid Posted January 24 Posted January 24 No. Nobody has thought about Usher since 2004. Very bizarre line up with Reba and Post Malone I heard? A mess.
ariesgroove Posted January 24 Posted January 24 white gay men not being excited about something does not mean no one else is 3
mons†er Posted January 24 Posted January 24 so many white gay men in this thread openly showcasing their racism and ignorance. can't say I am surprised. many and I mean many black people outside of atrl and stan twitter are extremely excited. he's gonna deliver a show!

TCorey Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Not surprising that the gheys ain't excited. I'm looking forward to it. His catalog is deep and he's a PERFORMER.
brenda-walsh Posted January 24 Posted January 24 um yes? he's an incredible performer, has hits on hits, and is a pop icon. he's not ATRL demographic so most people here won't care, but that doesn't reflect real life
unclefloprry Posted January 24 Posted January 24 Nobody doubts that he will give an amazing performance, but outside of the US nobody is hyped about this. I think the rating will be MID but once they upload the performance to YouTube it can explode on social media.
