Saying this on site for pop culture of all places is a mess :bibliahh:

Usher has nearly 10 #1 songs alone.

People were also excited for Rihanna's Superbowl and the hype was from the announcement to the night of the performance. It's been 3 months crickets for Usher

It's still been three months and it's still crickets. People were theorizing about Rihanna's setlist the moment she was announced.

Either way I'm sure he'll deliver a good show unlike whatever last years show was. :celestial5:

Sis, Rihanna is a lightskinned gp friendly female pop star with a heavy gay fanbase.:hoetenks: The GP were excited about Rihanna's Superbowl, white people and gays love Rih wbk.

Usher is a legendary primarily R&B artist with deep, old-school cuts and some pop hits and a predominantly black audience. His lead up obviously will be completely different. Watch his Superbowl in a black household, you'll see the excitement I'm talking about.

Just because you and a few pop sites arent excited doesn't mean this isn't huge for other communities in which you may not frequent.

He has 9 #1’s… Everybody knows it’s going to be a good show. Lol

Maybe Gen Z doesn’t care but they also stan Bhad Babie and Juice World so that isn’t saying much… :toofunny2:

Usher is one of the few male artists that can actually perform. :skull:

I get my pop culture updates from this site so obviously I haven’t seen any hype :rip:

I've heard him talked about by the GP more than most other performers ahead of time, except for Rihanna and The Weeknd.

You're not gonna find people in spaces like this talk about him though since they predominantly listen to pop girls.

The way you people know NOTHING :deadbanana4:

Like such proud ignorance when Usher washes nearly every single female performer like what an insane comment to make :ahh:

OT: Usher's not a newer generation artist so I wasn't expecting much hype at this moment but the show will definitely be stellar and probably one of the best ever.
