Control - Rhythm Nation 1814 - janet. - The Velvet Rope - All For You

This album run alone is such a ride and any pop star would kill to have.

OT:  Like many greats, Janet's eras are all defined with a distinct look & vibe.  Her legacy goes beyond her streaming numbers.

I don't know where her base thread is, but I was looking at her Chr/Top 40 history, and she has 9 #1's, and 6 #2's.

Outside the US: People don't know her, they never did.

In the US: I think people respect her and she has left some impact to this generation's pop artists, but still, her music is forgotten (maybe because of the whole Superbowl drama).

That is simply not true. Not when her Albums Janet., Velvet Rope and Greatest hits, all sold over 4 million copies outside the North America. She also hit singles outside the north america. And she was easily selling out arenas and stadiums worldwide during those eras.
