jlo cause she'll perform and dance and give a whole show. she's a performer, not a singer

we all know Mariah is there to sing (as long as the sound is working) and be carried

Conveniently forgetting Mariah just sold out an arena tour (18 shows) grossing 2 million per show. When was the last time JLo toured?

Well J Lo is apparently about to tour this year so we'll discover eventually.

J.Lo is a try hard (good for her) that has to constantly put herself out there because she knows if she stops the public will completely forget she even exists altogether

Mariah is a legend with organic name recognition, but I do admit gifs like this are funny

You mean for her own music?

And a large section of the show was her non-Xmas hits

If Ms.Claus truly cared she could do a dome/stadium/ Philippine Arena tour in Asia and Brazil

could the singer who lacks a bafta,Oscar, sag, Emmy, and more  do stadiums in two continents outside the us :thing:

Mariah most likely. She has a dedicated fan base, reputation of talent (even if it’s not the same now) and hits to back it up.

JLo… some shitty Netflix movies and red carpet appearances. There’s nothing really to hook people into actually paying to see her. Her Super Bowl hype is gone, no new hit music, nothing interesting new to say. Maybe she can do a Netflix or Amazon concert and people can watch it there.

Yes and have you seen the state of that ‘concert’?
Pls don’t even try comparing it to a performer of JLos calibre (watch her SB performance and cry please)

Girl we all know she’s a better singer but don’t try it with performing because she’s not it

The Christmas shows were strong vocally, actually. It was her recent show in Abu Dhabi that was weak.

Mariah in her prime could wow with her voice alone. She didn’t need gimmicks.

I know that. MTV unplugged, Without you, it doesn’t get better than that. But I was talking about now

You’re delulu. J.Lo’s tours sell out, despite you not liking her and think she only does Netflix movies, she was selling out shows (and setting records in Vegas) before the Super Bowl hype. Her pre-Super Bowl and pre-COVID tour was a big success. If anything people will want to see her even more now.

OT: J.Lo without question. Btw, it’s so clear Christmas is over with all the Mariah and J.Lo threads lately. Got nothing else on your mind the rest of the year?

Jlo is a stage blazer and has a strong Latin fan base.

Jlos statistics are better. They both did Vegas at the same time. In the two years Jlo grossed over 100 million. Mariah only did like 28 million.
