LoM is in the Top 3 of all metrics this week (it’s still strong everywhere, not just radio), and has a more legitimate claim to #1 than the week CS ‘beat out’ LoM. LoM losing out on both races is proof that the Hot 100 formula needs some tweaking. It may need some tweaking, but it doesn’t mean both Cruel Summer and Yes, And’s performances that beat out Lovin’ on Me are not legitimate. Unfortunately in this case LOM’s radio gap is not as powerful as CS over LOM. Complain all along, it is what it is. I do want LOM to stay at #1 over YA but Ariana’s sales did great, so she deserves it. 1

The way chart predictors are getting attacked by some Swifties online, who are accusing them of faking Ariana's initial predictions to help get her fans to buy more?? Why is Miss Mei Mei so mad?? 1

Like how much average consumption is streams vs sales vs airplay? Percentages vary from week to week, although they remain in the same range. Based on points reported by TOTC: This week: 78% Streaming + 21% Airplay + 1% Sales (huge impact for streaming due to 21 Savage's album bomb). Last week: 77% Streaming + 22% Airplay + 1% Sales

Still feels like the weight of airplay should be tweaked even a little bit more (genuinely shocked at how low audience impressions were compared to 2011-2018) to where it can only account for 15-18% of consumption, but the Hot 100 basically being a streaming chart with sprinkles of other consumption sounds right.

Taemira Posted January 22 Posted January 22 It's a great song and prob her best single since TYN but we all should feel ashamed to enjoy an affair-rationalizing song.
