Swifties are divided over the silence of Taylor/Taylor Nation about the late Swiftie

She'll obviously do something about this, she's probably just plotting a PR move that's gonna make her look as the hero in this situation (as per usual)

Poor Ana :jonny5:

So dense. She's gonna mention her once the concerts are over in the usual tribute she does for every date.

@More Than A Melody giving money to family of victim is considered as admission of guilt sadly and unfortunately in most of the world

you all can wait for a week atleast to see what actually happens

The organizers T4F are silent but Taylor should take all the responsibility, t4f were not even ready for postponing the dates as per leaks.

She will speak after the SP dates to make it safer for everyone

Also some of y’all either need to produce your law degrees or stop talking out of your asses about a sensitive situation.

Whew lord… the lawyers in here. In the states, giving money to the family can be used as evidence for an admission of guilt/fault in court, so it’s not as simple as the OTH wish it was.

I am literally a lawyer. Although this is not in any form the field of law I work with, I don't see how giving money would be detrimental to her in a lawsuit. In fact, corporations have started to take the approach of providing compensation soon after any major incident (e.g. Vale dam incident) even without detailed proof of damage because they recognized that the pros of doing so far outweight the cons, including of course for reputational reasons.

And people like this are exactly why she should do it silently. Whatever she does is a "PR move" to OTHs (which is a very grossed way to look at things considering there's a death of a woman involved).

i'm giving her the benefit of the doubt, i'm sure we'll know what's going on soon but it's not looking that great right now.

also some swifties saying she needs time to grieve, bffr. ana's FAMILY doesn't have that luxury. they have to grieve and take care of everything. you're making taylor look beyond self-centered and shitty :skull:

You. mean low ball settlements with conditions of signing paperwork saying you can't sue for later unknown damages?

Yikes, hope you're actually lying about being a lawyer because those poor clients of yours...

I think it's very weird how people could try to spin this situation into something so selfish and gross. even if you don't like TS, attacking her character after a fan passed away at her show is pretty disgusting. It's not anything she wanted or anyone else wanted for that matter. so many assumptions are being made just to attack TS instead of actually focusing on the loss of life. Im not the biggest fan of Taylor but even I can admit it's strange and off putting how many of you are projecting.

Sentence structure should be learned in highschool.

And you defending her actions is a choice she doesn't care about you. This is totally her fault. Madonna would never do this.

Madonna had crew die while setting her stage back in the day.  No report or backlash about her not giving money for the funeral costs.

OK, Shane69. LMAO.

@ATRL Administration, can we clear some of these trolls already? I'd be long gone if this were a Beyonce thread.

Besides that, they’re typing with errors too and not providing sources to their claims. At least, troll better @Shaner69

my guess is her lawyers and PR team are still workshopping the statement and course of action. I'm not a lawyer myself but her saying she's sorry and/or feels responsible could be seen as an admission of guilt and therefore make her liable for a lawsuit.
