This era is not going to flop, the dramatics 

 

Perhaps Houdini is slightly underperforming because to the average listener it is quite similar to her work on FN. Obviously us fans we can tell it’s more evolved/elevated but perhaps a large portion of the GP don’t think this one sounds particularly fresh or new for her.

Lately I've developed this theory that it's good for an album to have 2 or 3 "bad" tracks. Something psychological. It makes us like the good tracks even more and narrows the list of potential tracks that will make it to the tour setlist, so less people are bummed out if a certain track isn't there.

And the problem with US is that Dance the Night is still strong and also Houdini is slightly too loud for their taste 

She should have waited and release this the 1st week of January but i guess they had already planned the era and they weren't expecting DTN to do so well
