I feel like one of the more experimental and true psychedelic songs from DL3 will be the Levitating of DL3 aka the most successful song

Are those 'long campaigns' in the room with us right now :rip:? She did zero performances during Cold Heart and Dance The Night respective runs, it's been a long time since she went full campaigning for a single :dies:

For "CH" she was  touring a world tour which grossed over 100 millions, she didnt need to perform it anywhere, plus those were not singles from her main album. "DTN" was a Barbie song, that means the promotion of it (including all the paid radio listing etc) was paid from the movie promotional budget.

I love Dua because she takes musical influences, sits with it and makes sure she masters the craft.

She’s sort of been doing a dual single promo run right now, most of the radio interviews she’s been doing have been asking her about Dance The Night & Houdini. Her and Mark have been doing a bit of campaigning for the song and she’s just done that round table interview. I do low-key feel like people keep forgetting that DTN is doing well when discussing how she’s charting currently

I like that the most notable things about Dua is that she’s a gorgeous pop star who makes great music. And then when you peel back the layers a bit, all you really see is how intelligent, worldly and well-spoken she is.

Maybe it’s just cause I’m getting older, but I don’t really care about celebrities personal lives and most of the time it just leads to disappointment or disgust. Like I’m a Swiftie down, but I am very tired of the fairytale Travis Kelce stories, like I just don’t care and don’t really wanna see it.

That being said, I think this era will help her establish more of a fanbase, to a lot of people (especially in the US) FN was basically her first era. There’s still a lot of time in her career to grow, and she can sell out an arena tour which is difficult to get. Not everybody has that.

This is so true, like, I don't know if you guys follow her podcast but on many occasions we've coincidentally ended up reading the same book and it's great knowing that she is not only a great artist but also quite literate.

Warner kissing Dua’s ass  :msmarvel:  I know why people is always mad with her, they wish the label of their fave  would support them like Warner does with her.

kiis fm's beef with her legit needs to be investigated. she goes on there countless times doing radio interviews with ryan seacrest and their crew and they give her nothing in return.

why did they only play houdini once today :rip: (i'm not counting the one time it was played at 2am)

tate mcrae, travis scott, and jack harlow getting more radio spins than her i can't

Interesting so the autoplay didn't activate after 6 days like for DTN.

They are prolly saving it for after Xmas to give the song a big boost.

There’s a video on YouTube at a channel called Burstimo (can’t link because I’ve got phone issues, but it’s there just type his and her name in to search ) where he tells the story of how he signed her. Really interesting, and he, Joe Kentish, comes over as a really nice thoughtful guy.

He’s probably forever relieved that he’s not one of those A and R’s who turned down the Beatles “because guitar groups are going out of fashion”, ( which did happen😳).
