She would've been lovely in the role, but it went to the right girl and even Britney agrees. She’s an excellent actress, just look at her performances on Will & Grace and HIMYM. I would’ve loved for her to have gotten the notebook. With some coaching and directing, she would’ve been even better for this. but it went to the right actress. imabadkid Posted October 23, 2023 Share Posted October 23, 2023 I feel like because Crossroads wasn’t that great (no shade - love u Brit) people didn’t realize that Britney is still a rly good actress. After the c-ship they had her do small roles like playing the quirky assistant on HIMYM and she nailed it, Brit is captivating enough to drama and has good comedic timing to do comedy tbh. I also loved her cameos in HIMYM and Will & Grace but her cameo in Jane the virgin was pretty wooden, understandably… I wonder if she’ll ever get to a place where she doesn’t feel uncomfortable with cameras/acting.
