I thought this was pretty obvious. It’s already got way more preorders than Midnights and that opened with 1.58M. IMO it’s more of a question if it’s coming for Midnights or not

 

Also, the first re-recording to out-debut the OG being the one with the highest opening week out of those first 6 albums makes it even more insane

Sjdhsjsj well it’s true, 1989 is coming back for her revenge (until TS11 demolishes)

 

I would say it’s definitely outdoing Midnights but I don’t know if it’ll pull as many new sales during the first week, as in, outside of the preorders. I think it will pull enough to surpass it though since the preorders just getting bigger and bigger than Midnights’ and she won’t need as many
