I was sad she didn't perform Cardigan :chick3:

But I did get a Reputation friendship bracelet out of the event so I'm ok with that.

Just got home from watching the movie! It was so fun, the whole crowd was singing along (I'm pretty sad that the evermore section was noticeably much quieter :monkey:)

Not just evermore in my crowd, but also the folklore set as well :rip:

8 more hours! Seeing this concert tonight with my friend!! Ticket costs 13 euros :deadbanana2:

Okay, I just got back from my showing. I went to an IMAX showing at 10 PM so the theatre was half full and the crowd was pretty low-key, but I preferred it that way. You can tell there's a lot of effort that gets put into the visuals and the sound of the concert film and you can take it in much better with a quieter crowd.

I knew she was going to cut some songs from her setlist, but I was not expecting "Cardigan" to be one of them. :deadbanana: On the other hand, I was worried that TLGAD was going to be cut since it's one of my favorite songs from Folklore, so I was really happy it didn't.

Also... I feel like the movie was made to be watched for a late night viewing. The vibes were perfect because it was literally midnight during the Midnights segment. :jonny:

Happy to say my theatre was crazy af and we were dancing in the front during the whole 1989 section and Karma

i was shook people were very excited for fearless :deadbanana4: the deadest part was “our song” tho

My theatre had like 10 people in it which was amazing because I didn’t want people dancing around the cinema and singing :rip:

Reputation set was easily the best by far (I haven’t been to the concert yet, so seeing this all for the first time).

Overall was pretty good and I commend her for doing such a long set (and singing pretty much every song in full with no medleys)

I swear, that puta set changed my life… everybody was GASPING on my showing, it was insanely good. the energy :jonnycat:

I also have to say that the Fearless set gave me an incredible sense of joy, like I have never been sad before, it was so nostalgic and so good :jonny5:

Applauding you for finally coming to your senses sister, have fun  Also, I don’t know if you’re European, but the Lisbon date has resell open. I’ll leave you the link here if you’re interested https://taylorswift.seetickets.com/resell/search (seems like there’s nothing there, so I’d keep checking) hope you can snatch a ticket to see the actual thing live. The website doesn’t allow people to sell their tickets over the price of what they bought.

Everybody wanting to cut songs for others when the thing that needed to be cut was her 3 standing ovations where she kept making the same surprised face. I can't believe we could have gotten Cardigan instead of static applause. The weirdest thing of my movie was people going off during Folklore and using Red as a bathroom break.

Ok I loved the movie but she deserves JAIL for cutting Wildest Dreams

The movie was very well edited and filmed, every song had its own little style somehow and i really enjoyed that. My only nitpick with the editing was that before she gave the hat away in 22 there's a shot of her walking and singing into the mic but the audio of her mic was silent and she started adlibing when the shot changed so probably they just used takes from 2 different nights but other than that it was all pretty seamless if you look past some hair inconsistencies but nothing as jarring as the 1989 tour movie hair thats for sure

My crowd was maybe 30 people and most sang along and did the claps and chants at the proper moments. Noone stood up to dance but some grooving on seats were happening and some hand movements as well

A handful of us were wearing eras tour tshirts and others had the eras popcorn bucket. Didnt see any friendship bracelets but considering the state of our economy I'm not surprised. Im saving the ones I'm making for the actual shows lmao. I'd say most were in their 20s except for a mum and her young daughter. The girls on the row in front of me were talking about pirating Fearless on ARES back in the day I was like girl tf me too! So they def were late 20s early 30s as well.

They showed that ducks movie trailer with OOTW TV snippet before the movie and we all gasped loudly. Noone was expecting it lmao. I lowkey started getting chills and sweaty hands but we got 3 more boring trailers after that so I was back to normal but when they clock showed up i started hyperventilating lmfao. I'm so happy I went to see this before seeing the show in person next month cause I really think I wouldnt have made it without getting some sort of heart attack  So I feel more prepared now but barely :jonny5:

The songs that felt like they dragged a BIT were IKYWT, Shake It Off, Lavender Haze & Mastermind  IKYWT & Mastermind could've been cut fr the film tbh. Those were the moments were I was like ok lets get on with it already. I didnt really miss The Archer tbh and Willow was a very serviceable opener to the Everbible section. I missed Cardigan for sure but I lowkey can see why she'd cut it as MTR was a great closing moment to the Folklore act. The two surprise songs she chose were the best combo tbh. Giving debut a little crumb and YOYOK being the best offering from Midnights it got me teary eyed.

I dont agree with the criticism of people saying she's a bad performer, she's so obviously having so much fun on stage it's very infectuous. Her melodramatic ass during Tolerate It and Illicit Affair was giving me when Im passionately singing those songs alone in my room and that's probably the "relateability to silly white girls factor" her detractors refer to and sure it might be a bit cringy but life is too short to not live out your best life and have a lil overdramatic moment and most importantly have FUN and FEEL your emotions.

My favourite moments were Fearless act, Marjorie, MTR. ATW10 was immaculate :jonnycat: And the Reputation set of course. Reputa you will always be famous!

As i expected, Reputation era will always be that *****. By far the best part of the show.

The way i was living during Don't Blame Me :heart2:

Cardigan being cut from the folklore era like that though :rip:

Midnights songs in general i felt like the live producion gave them a new life.

Also...not Vigilante **** being one of the best performances :jonny6:

I went last night and it was beautiful! :chick3:

I enjoyed it so much that I just bought another ticket for friday. Ugh, the Swifties that were in the room >>>>>

There's honestly no better feeling than people peacefully and genuinely having a GREAT time together.

Pros

- Evermore set was the best, especially Willow and Tolerate It

- Reputation was second best. LWYMMD was very impressive

- 1989 was third best (but looked like total playback to me)

- she improved vocally

- camera work were impressive

Cons

- constant walking in the catwalk manner

- was the vision and sound from two different shows cause sometimes it looked like this

- too much Disney Chanel sometimes - not that “beautiful gowns” anymore
