I voted for Tightrope in the poll bc I knew it would be a bop I hope this label can get her more appropriate bookings tho, I still remember her doing No Drama on GMA and it just makes no sense for her 

 

I don't know if I can make a proper Tinashe top 10, but if I had to pick one from each existing project + 1 bonus it would be (I love her ass shaking songs too but I guess I'm a sad romantic through and through)

I kinda thought that too, TTMN = Faded Love, subdued vibe-y playlist song. Needs = Me So bad, basic and fun music video. I don't necessarily think they're weaker, it's hard to be worse than Me So Bad. I'm not sure if we'll get a No Drama type R&B pop song out of this based on everything else we know

they are kinda weaker impression-wise. Quality wise yes, the BB/ANG3L songs are better so far, but overall they're not really leaving an impression or delivering something new she hasn't already done before.

That's so true, the rollout singles for 333 were all so interesting and fully realized. I was expecting a lot since her trajectory is always going up but the TTMN video and Needs just left me like 

 

I hope the label is more invested in some upcoming singles bc I heard the TTMN video was kinda their fault  I know she doesn't let eras die fast so we'll see what promo comes

i mean, i agree but everyone should also keep in mind that good morning america is one of the very few places anyone can actually promote their music atm since late night shows/snl/etc are all on hiatus until the writers strike is over. 
 

i would LOVE if they finally got her on tiny desk and the terrell show. i think those are two things that could do her well right now.

Terrell wants her and have been trying to book her for awhile. Hopefully the label can work something out with him, where she can do his regular show and also do mini concerts where she can perform couple hits and couple songs from the album. That could help her out a lot with the audience that listen to Terrell. Even if they don’t buy or become Stan it might help with tickets sales. 
Tinydesk performance could also help her a lot. I hope the label work on securing that and releasing it during album week.Film vevo performances for the songs and drop them throughout the upcoming days/weeks after the album drop. After that I don’t know anything else she can do that will help with album sales. 
 

VMA would be a great exposure but that won’t happen. 
 

There are couple indie and niche shows with big loyal fanbases she could collaborate with. 
 

She need to be smart and creative with her promo. Until the writers strike is over there is not much that can be done.

Honestly she could have added couple uptempo to the album. It so short already, and a bit slow. Couple uptempo would bring more energy and life to this era. As times goes she staying farther and farther from fast tempo records. 333 is on the slower side but she got Bouncin and X.

No. Needs has a better video and probably easier listen than TTMN.

 

TTMN video does not have great replay value.

Since they are not investing much on music video and etch. I see they have been pushing playlists and streaming. I hope they continue to invest in streaming and really start investing promotions and marketing of this project. I know they were testing Needs on radio overseas and various other places. I am interested to find out what is the reception of needs, cause they have been very quiet. It seem needs is probably the closest to radio friendly songs on the album. I hope they push it or something else.

didn’t know he’s been trying to get her on there. if he didn’t try during the beginning of a new era then she wasn’t going to do it tbh, which is one of those things that i hate that she does. it still confuses me why she’s stuck in the mindset that brand deals and promotional stuff outside of the initial start of an era or outside of an era period isn’t worth doing but whatever. hopefully it’ll work out eventually.

Yeah it was long after the initial start of the 333 era. I think was doing the months were she wasn’t really doing much. She still went to various talk show after that though. She and her team needs to be smart with the promotion. If she can not get a promo stop at the big shows and booked award shows performances they needs to focus on the indie or smaller shows with a cult or loyal following, as long as they are potentials listeners.

If there’s anything she has done her time for, it is a mainstage slot on one of the bigger award shows.
