Club classic Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 The album is insane, these are all top-notch tracks I think: PTTR FTG 97 Go Off Agora Hills Can't Wait Skull and Bones Attention Balut and the rest is really solid too, we're feasting good 1

professor2000 Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 Why is PTTR not playable on the album on Spotify? Is that normal, I have never seen that before? Between that + the album on Apple Music twice. I need her team to get on it. I know they tired from last night…but it ain’t over yet. Lol.
KatyPrismSpirit Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 the lyric about J Cyrus sends me tho: "Stroke me like he straight, but they think my ***** gay"
Breathe On Moi Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 so anyone knows that I’m huge ass Doja stan and I’m always here for her, but I think Tinashe spoiled my ass serving a short project, maybe I just want short/broken up projects from all my faves now idk, idk. there are MANY career highlights on this album and i get my life to them, but there are also songs I’m just like, babygirl, we could have just left those to be leaked in a year, or two. I give this a 8.9/10 because there’s SO MUCH for me to digest…score will probably go up for me in time. FTG Ouchies 97 Gun (!!!!!!!) Shutcho (1) Agora Hills (2) Can’t Wait (3 punch) are on repeat.
Post Malone Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 @Mark Rih go AWFF Let them GAG and CHOKE

professor2000 Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 I have a confession to make… “Ouchies” is just OK to me…I can see why that almost didn’t make the final version (listed as unfinished).. . I appreciate the energy though. 2
RihsUmbrella Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 On repeat all day no skips Spoiler Although Love Life almost got skipped a few times Needs to grow on me
rta1913 Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 This album is not for me, I mean it's not bad but it's not something I'd listen to. Which makes sense as I love her hip-pop songs and I LOVED Planet Her. Kudos to her cause she really made the album she wanted to make Paint the Town Red is THE bop and she delivered great visuals this era.

'Scarlet' feels mixtapy. and looking at the credits it's not surprising. there's like 3x times less people involved in engineering/mixing/mastering than Hot Pink/Planet Her. I think what plays a big role here is that she's the sole executing producer. for "Hot Pink" Dr Luke was executive producer and probably brought tons of engineers with him. and for "Planet Her" Yeti Beats was executive producer, so same thing there.

NEUTRON Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 Agora Hills needs to debut at #1 and stay there for a while
Lightbringer007 Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 Ouchies, Agora Hills, and Can't Wait are such career highlights omg 3
Katy V.! Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 After first listen, her attitude, cockiness and basically everything she's done makes complete sense. She knows this is THE album of her career.

Right I had it pre-saved and everything, come to find out my pre-save didn’t have the 2 new tracks so I had to remove it and add the new one I’m so proud of her. For her to have what I believe is such a strong album with 0 features 2
GeminiCat Posted September 22, 2023 Posted September 22, 2023 Listened twice last night and was listening all morning at work (had a really challenging day ugh but this helped) so here are my rankings: Agora Hills - A career highlight. Nuff said. Go Off - I was not expecting to love this song as much as I did based on the OG title but this has been on repeat Can't Wait - (Can she make an R&B album next pls?) FTG PTTR Shutcho Attention Gun Demons WYM Freestyle 97 Ouchies (I wanted to love this one just a little bit more from the snippet but still ) Often Skull N Bones Balut Love Life .. Wet ****** - from the snippet and chorus it started off so promising but not sure if I like her flow on the verses , this is pretty much the only one I still need time with I don't think this album is that crazy of a departure from her SoundCloud, Purr and even Amala days if you were there - Scarlet is just a more elevated take IMO. It is more consistent, she sounds more confident talking her **** and she has shown a lot of growth since then. I don't know if I want to say that this knocks off Hot Pink as my personal favorite Doja album just yet but objectively speaking this is probably her best and strongest work to date in terms of quality of production and lyrics. 9.2/10

Nnn relatable, the way I was a full on stan during HP/PH eras and enduring all the controversy during that time, then JUMPED ship after Attention scared me away, now I’m crawling back to re-apply for my stan card 1
