I’m resting my thumbs now, b/c I know we gonna have to go to battle over this second half of the album… :lmao:

Fighting “true hip hop” fans critiquing bars :coffee2:

Fighting Pop music + success stans saying it’s boring :coffee2:

like some of da "true" hip hop fans not gettin da bars in Balut lol

100% get it + agree.  A cover is very important despite ppl trying to downplay it.  Lol.

But this is ultimately her art…so if she thinks it fits, nothing we can do about it.

Also…I still would like an explanation about how it fits into the theme.  Just as a consumer.  I won’t rest until I find out.  Lol.

right idc about the cover anymore (although I will say i preferred the CD cover) but I also just want to know what it has to do with the album / concept in general??? Is Scarlet a spider? what's going on

guys take this as your fair warning now but we're gonna have swarms of pop stans saying the album is mid or bad because it's not what they listen to / wanted from her... kick the stray cats out, the real kittens stay in the litterbox

the way this forum always does this… like they called renaissance trash. don’t trust these gaes!

First half is more enjoyable from a general rap/pop-listening perspective.

Second half is lyrically more cohesive and really shows her pen.

I need more time with this as a whole but its definitely a strong creative departure from what shes done before despite feeling very 'Doja".

The people will be eating up Gun & Agora Hills FOR SURE.

I don't wanna read 5 pages full of spoilers, can someone tell me, is there an HQ + explicit versions leaked already, or clean mid quality is all we got?:ducky:

'Agora Hills' reminds me so much of Keri Hilson's debut album

i know it's a deep r&b reference that nobody remembers  but people who know will know. that album had a very distinct atmosphere/soundscape on most of it's deep cuts. AH recaptures that time capsule very well for me. it's weird.

i keep saying i won’t relisten to the l**k but it’s so good. i’ve been stanning for 7 years, this album is for MEEEEE. i’ve waited so long for something like this

its reminding me of Amala a lot tbh just super elevated and way more experimental / well crafted

right it really feels like a full circle moment and a creative breakthrough at the same time. I couldn't be more excited for her to finally get this out to the world. All the mess was worth it lol :jonny6:
