Velvet Night Posted July 23, 2023 Posted July 23, 2023 Nice to see him fixing what's really wrong with Twitter
fridayteenage Posted July 23, 2023 Posted July 23, 2023 Quote X.com was an online bank co-founded by Elon Musk, Harris Fricker, Christopher Payne, and Ed Ho in 1999. In June 2001, X.com was renamed PayPal. On October 3, 2002, eBay purchased PayPal for US$1.5 billion. On July 5, 2017, Musk repurchased the domain name X.com from PayPal. Oh. So he just wants to recycle his old site's name.
ATRL Moderator Bloo Posted July 23, 2023 ATRL Moderator Posted July 23, 2023 Twitter’s name recognition is the only thing keeping it afloat 2
Vrx. Posted July 23, 2023 Posted July 23, 2023 He’s deflecting from the fact that his shareholders just sued him for manipulating stock prices to pay for debts (they won) and that he is in massive debt with extremely high interest. The fact he’s funneling tax payer money from SpaceX to Twitter via ads to pay for his interest is a gag. Ol girl needs daddy’s money 5

Gwendolyn Posted July 23, 2023 Posted July 23, 2023 The downfall from here is going to be something to WITNESS
cockatoo Posted July 23, 2023 Posted July 23, 2023 Why would you change such a well known brand? X sounds like an adult site too. I know twitter has some...interesting content but come on now...
livelikemusic Posted July 23, 2023 Posted July 23, 2023 So can someone else re-create Twitter and keep Twitter separate from Musky's s**t? Mr. Beast. Snoop Dogg. Come on. Team up and take over Twitter.

Those pages are a source of income for me at this point and my primary communication method for my brands. It is incredibly disappointing to see someone essentially destroy years of time and effort. It seems almost deliberate. Almost seems? It IS deliberate.
Just a Gay on ATRL Posted July 23, 2023 Posted July 23, 2023 Well bye tweet tweet. threads is about to explode
Lovett Posted July 23, 2023 Posted July 23, 2023 It's wild that he's willingly running the platform into the ground. Getting rid of name recognition is practically the final nail in the coffin. They're losing users and sponsors in droves. Why would he do something so moronic? 1
