yeah, but songs is not really important, IMO. It will always be the same sertanejo songs. 

I'm more into the albums chart, as this is where I feel like most pop girls would have the spot to shine

This chart is not so important, they made it for 40 countries, even those that already have official charts. billboard us analyzes the top 25 songs in each country. 

 

Now Brazil FINALLY will have its OWN body to inspect data, publish the best sellers, make genre charts and disseminate exclusive information

I agree it would be interesting to see a chart for international songs since only mega-smashes in English get to appear in the top 25 songs chart for multiple weeks (Flowers, Unholy, & As It Was for example). And it would be nice to have an official album chart too.

why was it discontinued in the first place?
