Croatia received: 9 x 12 points 12 x 10 points (7 countries gave Israel 12 (all western European), 4 gave Ukraine 12 (all historically related to Ukraine + Malta), 1 (Ukraine) gave 12 to Switzerland) 6 x 8 points (all had Israel and Ukraine above apart from Belgium, which put Israel and France ahead) UK gave them 7 points (8-12 went to three countries with sizeable diaspora: Lithuania, Ireland, and Israel) overall it received more points from western and northern Europe than eastern and southern This just goes to show that had there been no war in Israel and Ukraine, Croatia would've scored an even more superior win last night. Everyone claiming that we'd always have the same/shitty songs winning clearly don't know what they're talking. Public has a much more organic taste than the so-called "professional" juries. Televoting only era gave us some of the most memorable and beloved songs. Great/quality entries always found their way to the top and won 9/10 times. It is the juries, in fact, that regularly shove songs that nobody cares about down our throats. Otherwise, make televoting free of charge. Is the percentage of POC in Europe THAT low? As an American watching, this was quite shocking to me. This goes for the audience as well as the contestants.
