I really hope "Heaven" can come through. Would add some variety to the draw.

It was a split decision for Tina Turner in the second round of the Sinéad Division. Alongside ex-husband Ike, her much-imitated, never-duplicated rendition of #4 "Proud Mary" rolled over #5 "I Feel For You," but #7 "The Best," one of her last major hits, saw the pearly gates of #2 "Heaven". Another favorite of early MTV, Cyndi Lauper, kept her underdog campaign going with a dominant performance by #16 "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" against #8 "The Man Who Sold the World," while Laura Branigan, that ultimate other girl of the '80s, fell to Diana Ross' legendary reworking of #14 "Ain't No Mountain Enough".

(16) "Girls Just Want to Have Fun" Cyndi Lauper def. (8) "The Man Who Sold the World" Nirvana [21-7]
(4) "Proud Mary" Ike and Tina Turner def. (5) "I Feel For You" Chaka Khan [17-11]
(14) "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" Diana Ross def. (6) "Gloria" Laura Branigan [15-13]
(2) "Heaven" DJ Sammy and Yanou ft. Do def. (7) "The Best" Tina Turner [17-11]

We close out round two back in the Whitney Division. Can both Houstons keep their good fortune going? As always, in each of the match-ups below, please pick the track for which your heart is full of love and desire. Happy voting!

Round Two: Whitney Division

(1) "I Will Always Love You" Whitney Houston vs. (9) "Eternal Flame" Atomic Kitten

(5) "Freak Like Me" Sugababes vs. (4) "Lady Marmalade" Christina Aguilera, Lil' Kim, Mýa and Pink

(3) "It's Oh So Quiet" Björk vs. (6) "Don't Know Why" Norah Jones

(7) "Venus" Bananarama vs. (15) "Don't Leave Me This Way" Thelma Houston

I'm so bummed that "Gloria" lost. Every time I listen to it, I just feel uplifted. That chorus is unbeatable.
