SM do that since day 1 okay, but I don’t reckon any other company doing it in such shameless way as SM those songs were literally released before by another artist, as a performing artist I would be really upset in both positions like, people in here (including me) were dragging Twice for sticking to the same music direction and being inspired by Dua and The Weeknd retro era, while SM isn’t bothered and just releases already existing song, without any retouches, just with the new lyrics

If a song is not by kenzie or the other guy it will have a high chance being a remake of another song with some twists specially if they are western composers I honestly don't care though because if it weren't for that remakes I would have no idea about the songs and if SM is paying for it and the original artist is getting the coins there's nothing wrong with it Most of them are Demo songs that are being bought by SM instead of remakes though

It's literally how the K-Pop industry has worked for decades, given the short gaps (compared to western markets) between releases, which makes it harder to produce everything in-house. It's just outsourcing. Not sure why we're acting brand new here?
