Yes. 9.469M Korean albums sold, 1.587M Japanese albums sold and 2.229M Japanese physical singles sold. Their Korean albums will jump over 1.7M albums by 3/22. They also have 11.981B YouTube views and 6.044B Spotify streams.

 

It really comes down to how active BlackPink and TWICE are going foreward on who will be the biggest female act, but TWICE holds the title now. They’re both 0 competition for Aespa, IVE and NewJeans unless those groups stop releasing or go to just one release every 12-18 months, but they should still stay on top until 2025, at the earliest.

Twice new song is not bad at all I actually dig it but still how they do in Korea now still shocks me specially now since everyone in this forum is saying the charts are dead since months ago 

 

Good for them foe the stadiums and the physicals though they kinda remembers me to Super junior but in a bigger scale. Total flops in Korea but successful outside + physicals. SJ with Latam mostly and Twice with the US and some other Asian countries

They’re Korean because that’s their primary language and where they were released. Just like with every Korean album, their Circle sales are the global shipments of all albums distributed by a Korean label.

 

And why come after physical sales for fraudulence after just focusing on Melon? Korea famously discards over half of their streams for their charts because they’re mostly fake, which is why Circle Streaming Certifications are always significantly lower than playcounts on individual streaming platforms.

i mean you're the one who's copping because they can't enter the top 100 despite TEXT MESSAGE promotion like... imagine if any other girl did this i just checked and i never received any text message about other groups' comeback

Did fromis_9 change their comeback schedules or something? I think I read somewhere that says they are having a cb in the middle of March but it's 3/10 now and the number of teasers we got is still n/A.

It’s not that important for domestic digitals because 600M digital points is equal to just 100M authentic streams. Only one female group song has over 200M domestic streams (D4) and while that is helpful, 200M streams aren’t significant when a group can pull over 300M streams on Spotify and 1.7M album sales (the equivalent of 2.55B streams)

 

And for the record, I’m an SNSD stan and a TWICE/3rd gen hater. But I just don’t like when you girls use delusional criteria or show just how little you understand the charts. Don’t act like I’m biased for TWICE just because I’m pointing out obvious chart facts that every K-pop stan should know by now
