It would be brilliant marketing It is definitely media-play and all 7 girls will eventually debut in the group. It's a marketing tactic to make the audience more attached to the members, since people will now root for a specific or all members to debut, which will create more buzz in general. JYP did the exact same thing with Stray Kids where every member was introduced through a pre-debut reality show airing on Mnet, and they even released a pre-debut EP. But somehow JYP decided to remove 2 of the members (Felix and Lee Know) from the lineup, to then suddenly making the public vote whether Felix and Lee Know should debut with the group or not. Then of course the public voted yes to Felix and Lee Know debuting in Stray Kids, since they were already attached to them and then Stray Kids debuted with all the members. 3 hours ago, BTS said: Boygroups are safe atm but I think in general kpop is moving away from large groups. Not even boy groups are safe anymore. The only reason why groups like SKZ (8 members) are thriving is because they debuted in 2018 and are already established. A new boy group debuting with 7+ members in todays Kpop will flop. 3 hours ago, DelRey said: Do you think Nmess is still in the race? atp I think even StayC have a better chance than them. They just don't work as a group, there is nothing interesting about them tbh. NMIXX are already bigger than STAYC globally though due to company privilege alone. 2 hours ago, Mr. Blue_Shirt said: Well Mrs. Jisoo is cooking good meals for iftar & Suhur with JS1 that's why Maybe that's why YG might kick Haram out out and cancel her debut in BABYMONSTER since Ramadan is approaching? Edited March 5, 2023 by Pluto2022
Mr. Blue_Shirt Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 YG know what they're doing with these "twist" because let's be real, Baemon's rollout so far are really uneventful even for YG's GG standard So they did this to get the people talking
Xalric Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 Sorn just confirmed clc did not disband, they are working behind the scene to find a way to work as a group again... Might be why cube decided to be petty and reuploaded clc page with Seunghee, Yujin & Eunbean only. And as for Baemon YG might have pulled out the 2009 and 2008, since it's too young to promote oversea.
Pluto6 Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 Maybe the "N" in NMIXX is standing for "new"? NewMIXX in your area
ariesgroove Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 MOTHERSOO COMING and not yg threatening to chop off a member already what omg mess
Pluto6 Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 SKZ were spotted filming their MV for their upcoming comeback.. Yep they are coming to STOMP @xrosup@Mitsuki @discreetinside @Save-Me-Oprah @Gwendolyn@elevate(I just realized that were kind of a cute handful of SKZ stans in here)
Subzero Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 Whew, this Spice Girls inspired sexy bop still slaps The way Miss Hyosung was always effortlessly serving s.e.x.
Pluto6 Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 (edited) SKZ being #4 and almost outdoing every release so far this year with with a Japanese album Btw, they would've debuted way higher if they didn't release the title track a whole month earlier Edited March 5, 2023 by Pluto2022
Luckitty Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 Produce 101 did irreparable damage to the kpop industry.. the amount of survival shows (& the way all of them are rigged and filled with favoritism), the "ending fairy" mess, etc

LSM started pushing the idea of rotational groups back in the mid-2000s. Super Junior were supposed to be a rotational group but fans were already invested in the boys because they were famous pre-debut so the fans forced them to include all of the members and scrap the rotations. It happened with Red Velvet, too. YG is just being smart as hell and knows how to get people engaged. I didn’t watch half of the BaeMon debuts but I started watching immediately after his announcement.
Dialamba Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 YG best marketing strategy in kpop better than JYP leaking OO no one was tuning in then they said we will cut some members. Now everyone is rooting for the Yunjin&Garam clone and Lisa’s daughter

Releasing fearless in Japanese is so lazy but on the other hand the Korean version already did sth their so it makes sense releasing a song you know the gp will eat up.
fauxtography Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 ok the twice preview kinda looks like a full on RESET

Hazy Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 (edited) slaying effortlessly I hope they won’t release any of their previous singles in Japanese, the Korean versions already did their thing edit: or maybe they should release Hype Boy to make that song even more iconic Edited March 5, 2023 by Hazy
