neither of them have been dragged by the armys or blinks the way newjeans have.  next 

 

edit: maybe aespa with the blinks but otherwise armys generally didn't care about nor were they threatened by non-BP GGs until NewJeans started pulling numbers so

YG girlgroups are usually successful in the usa, I wouldn't be shocked if they pull the same numbers as newjeans. Blackpink stans are probably going to support them as well. it is crazy I haven't seen any uproar about baby monsters when they're so young and YG is known for being a company full of criminals (including their CEO).

Wait did you forget the fights between armys and MYS during the awards season?  Butter vs NL  + the pre debut scandal with Jimin and Jimin

Since when France is in the west? The US market is different than Europe, that’s why NJ songs are not charting in Spotify FR and Uk top 100 despite charting in Spotify US and being #15 on Spotify global charts . Mind you BP charted more than 7 weeks inside the UK single chart and peaked at #21 on Spotify uk but apparently they free fall and they’re not clicking with the gp

From what I've seen alot of the ARMYs are mostly neutral towards them but maybe that's just me

oh maybe i’m dumb but either way outside of asia they’re still a non factor and a #21 peak doesn’t make it a hit or popular with the public, that’s not to say newjeans are bc kpop will almost always be a niche

The verses are cute but when it gets into the chorus and the hybe vocal processing becomes noticeable it ruins the mood for me.
