nnnnn not my lil comment starting a 4th gen stan war. I just find it so funny how this thread goes into meltdown mood if newjennies are joked about even a little, my comment was a little shady yes but it was extremely mild in my opinion compared to many other posts about other ggs where it actually starts getting vile, and i like the girls alot but my biggest complaint about them has always been how they really haven't mastered a single thing yet, they are extremely average singers and boring dancers and i dont see the point of hyping those aspects just cause they are successful.

 

Anyways i stand by XG doing laid back hiphop dances much better cause they seem to have actually been trained on it like every other aspect of hiphop meanwhile newjennies feel like they were trained on cutesy 'cheerup/TT' choreo rather than the technique to master the choreos they do. It was a lil comparison nothing that serious

The issue with NJ is I see them having a very successful 3-4 years, but they don't have any substantial talent to really have longevity. The only members I see with potential solo careers are Danielle and Haerin. Haerin shines in a group, but I'm not sure she'd have much presence solo. Danielle seems like she has potential to be a star solo though. She has the confidence. There was some performance (maybe MAMA?) where Danielle had a lil solo dance break and she kinda gave Britney 2000 vibes

aespa has Karina one of the best 4th gen main dancers, winter is decent while le sserafim has no outstanding dancers but yunjin and chaewon are around winter's level so aespa it is

And if we include XG, then they are #1, since almost all the members on the same level as Hikaru.
Hikaru comes from the same company as XG and trained with them for years, and was supposed to debut with them if she didn’t debut in Kep1er.

- LE SSERAFIM vs NewJeans

etc.

 

I'm confused with the everglow sneak??? Mia is the only stand out in that group with Onda being close second while eu is overhyped as a dancer so idk why they ranked higher than kep1er who has Hikaru,dayeon and youngeun and le sserafim that high when aespa dance line is actually stronger.

Le sserafim may not have a top dancer but it’s one of rare groups with no dancer hole.

that’s why I wrote most not all of them? of course there are exceptional dancers in some groups though most of the ggs have kinda samey routines

I would say something you would expect from kpop 

 

I still can’t believe Itzy got such boring choreo lately, they were considered dancers of the 4th gen, but then still, they are very kpoppy, if you know what I mean 

 

the emphasis on choreo in kpop is put on it being neat, sharp, super coordinated and that’s what separates it from from the real dance groups (in my opinion) - the individuality is gone and it gets kinda bland? 

 

that’s why I can’t really understand LSFM hype, of course they are amazing and it’s obvious they worked hard to be on the level they are, but then they have that typical kpop feel plus Kazuha 

but I guess it’s because their choreo is dynamic and incorporates nice member’s shine moments

And i also agree about your post on them way up. Its so easy to peep who on here is terrified on speaking their real thoughts when it comes to newjennies, like the extreme and honestly cringy bandwagoning starts getting grating, get off the ground bb and say ur real thoughts, their songs are bops but do you really stan enough to write these exaggerated essays. The twitter updates on their stats give obvious dopamine hits so they have to get high on it as fast as possible.

Now we got people criticizing le Sserafim for doing their job.  

Every groups follow a choreography including NJ just because they smile at the camera and jump every two moves doesn’t make different from the “robots”
