Oh gosh of course she doesn't care about every single person in the fandom. Thank for the news!

She is saying i'm trying solutions to trying to get more people for what i can. For the rest she is saying too much demand so if you can't see me bye. As she should.

She is also responsible though. Yes, Ticketmaster screwed things up but this could have also been avoidable if Taylor used her own fan verification system or opted out of dynamic pricing.

Also, I promise you Taylor doesn't care about you as much as you care about her.

She did opt out of dynamic pricing. The tickets fluctuate due to demand but dynamic pricing would’ve raised floor tickets to tens of thousands of dollars. They never even got past $1200.

Ticketmaster fumbled the presale codes. Why give out 3M codes to a show with ~3.2-3.8M seats.

Taylor did what she needed to do from her end.

also I’m not here acting like Taylor and I have a parasocial relationship. I know she’s a business. I understand that. But I also know she doesn’t just not give any shits at all. She can care without it meaning she personally “loves” us all to the extent some of the entitled fans believe she does.

If anything, she's the winner of this mess. Everyone found out how powerful she is :clap3:

Says the one that doesn’t even like her / have tickets to a show that has spent all week talking about it :rip:

What are you smoking? I haven't discussed it at all. Although even if I have its literally the hot topic in pop culture atm.

Some of y'all are so dumb you're at the stage of requiring psychiatric help

I was very upset at Ticketmaster and upset at her and taylornation for their silence in the wake of this fiasco. At the same time, I understand why she may have had to wait, probably to talk to her lawyer to see what she can or cannot say, because there is a high chance she has signed an NDA or any other contract stipulation that controls what she can and cannot say, do or cannot do. The entertainment industry is full of contracts that not only delay things but also control how they are narrated.

I feel like instagram fried your guys' brains and now you think that a change.org petition or a tweet à la Demi is the solution to everything.

At the same time I wonder why she can't just cancel all the tickets and restart this entire process? Idk if she is even allowed to do that and I understand why it would be unfair to the people who had to struggle through it...I just heard that Ed Sheeran did something similar

The issue seems to be that TM released far too many presale codes for the number of tickets available, and had to have known that was the case. They released 1.5m codes for 2m tickets. Unless every single person went alone, the system was never going to work. And then on top of that, even if you had tickets in your cart, you could never check out because the site 503ed repeatedly and you got sent back in line :skull:

Taylor and Her team did this SO much more smoothly on their own for the Reputation tour. It’s a shame they couldn’t do it again this time.

Ticketmaster was losing profit to her slow ticketing system, so yeah, they didn’t allow her this time

You were literally in a thread calling her white mediocrity while talking about the tour gtfo :rip: like a full ass adult continuing to throw tantrums because you hate someone you don’t know so much you can’t even think logically, it’s pretty funny to see

A thread about Beyonce but my one comment is me talking about it all week - but keep watching my profile :bibliahh:

I don't even get what the mess is. 6m people at least want tickets. They are just 3M. Some scalpers took some of them (shocking news, never happened before), some fans took them, some fans don't. What's the issue? Everyone should have a ticket?. They can't. The demand is too high. Stan some popstars with 15K tickets unsold untill the last day in only 20 stadium shows. What she can do?.

the way she said NOTHING after "Well." :dies:

How about "I APOLOGISE"? She was silent for DAYS, could've reacted sooner and maybe Ticketmaster would've done something about it. Now it's too late, she got her money I guess that's all she cared about.

She has nothing to apologize for, wtf? :lmao:

This was the right thing for her to say at this point, with so much still unclear. She acknowledged and validated the anger, shared in her own personal anger, and didn't make any promises that she can't guarantee. There are federal investigations happening and likely years of lawsuits ahead, this is much better than her now. She has to be hyper careful with how she words any public statement to protect herself legally.

Ed Sheeran cancelled around 10-15k pre sale tickets, in her case it would be millions. Impossible.

What would show that she "cares"? Playing 300 shows for free? Genuinely I want to hear what you think she should do to fix the situation.

Drop a TV right now.

Ticketmaster said there were 14M people on their site trying to get tickets actually. There’s no possible way to meet that demand unless we build stadiums that hold 1M people (which is, from an engineering perspective, irrational and unsafe.)

The 1st part of your post already debunked by others.

But the bold part is so hilarious. Why you cares so much about how much she cares about her fans more than her own fans? Lol.

I'm not defending her because she cares for me (she did care more than 90% of the mainstream stars out there but thats not the point). But simply because i can understand the basic logic of the situation. Ticketmaster system failure & resellers law is the enemy here. Not Taylor. But seem like that basic logic is too hard for your blind mind to comprehend.

Thanks for the clarification on this as I'd found like four different answers on this elsewhere.

If she waited to say anything at all with some sort of solution it would've been worse. Also some limits contractually likely on what she can say so she isn't in any legal waters as mentioned by others earlier.

At this point I'm convinced the only thing that can get a Ticketmaster break-up is this debacle and if even anything remotely close to that happens I forgive her for the jet mess :rip:

Taylor is so griffin iconic. Even this situation which shouldn’t have been a big scandal became one somehow. I mean...even politicians are now Involved and Ticketmaster might also experience some kind of downfall :rip: this is just next level and iconic AF :lmao:

the way swifties are jumping through hoops to defend her, imagine if they did this with real social issues

anyway taylor is the captalist queen sooooooo w/e
