her entire tour is happening during football off season which is march-august. she can’t use the stadiums outside of those months. and according to ticketmaster, she would need to perform 900 shows to meet the demand. so it doesn’t matter how many shows she adds at this point, there are more fans than there are tickets.

and this is already more US tickets than any previous tour of Hers. i did the math, and last tour was the previous high with less than 2.10 million

Taylor Swift certainly doesn’t care about her latam fans, tho. Is she ever gonna acknowledge how she ROBBED them by canceling the Lover Fest tour and never giving them refunds? We didn’t get a statement for that.

Oh you mean when the pandemic striked and the whole world was in lockdown?! And yes, swifties did get refunds from that (unless you have an issue with the Brazilian government on their pandemic policy).

It's kind of interesting seeing the public goodwill folklore and evermore garnered vanish into thin air as soon as something like this happens. I've seen so many negative TikToks and tweets and I haven't even really been keeping up with this situation because a) I'm not from the US, and b) I wasn't planning on going to the tour anyway.

 

I'm sure she'll find a way to turn the SV Narrative back around though, she always does. She should offer exclusive "immersive live streaming" tickets or something with e-perks like redeemable codes to use on her webstore for discounted music/merch. Capitalism queen!

She could technically continue touring during the NFL season.  She toured stadiums during September to October for Reputation, she just toured stadium when the home team was on away games. Its a big logistical challenge through to schedule through. But the big factor is that she already committed to 5 months of touring and likely has at least another 2 months for international dates.  It would likely be too exhausting for her and her tour crew to tour any longer than that.  Plus it takes several months of planning for stadium tours. To arrange more unplanned dates (the previous additional dates she added were planned to be added based on demand) at the last minute would be extremely difficult.

You need to stop making excuses for her. Brazilian fans did not get refunds, if so, where’s mine? lol Billie Eilish canceled, Harry Styles canceled and they all offered refunds instead of credit. 

 

This is something that’s VERY upsetting for her brazilian fan base, by the way.  Why didn’t she say something about it? She doesn’t bother addressing her third world fans, ig

There will almost certainly be major spillover from US fans trying to snap up shows in Canada or Europe in addition to the local fans  it’s going to be an absolute bloodbath

like… even ticketmaster glitching and crashing isn’t worth all the complaining. it’s just exceptionally high demand. nobody can say it wasn’t ~fair~ because everyone at pre-sale had the same circumstances.

Also apparently Ticketmaster promised some day before the sales a facilitated access to people who bought lover fest tickets but this didn't happen.

I just feel for the fans who bought Loverfest tickets and got shut out of the process. They were supposed to get preferred access, but many didn’t even get tickets. I think the boost system was not operating correctly.
