I like Lift Me Up more than Anti-hero but maybe it's for the best that it doesn't go #1 this week. Maybe after the movie premiere if streams increase a lot and airplay is still strong.

I don’t know where to put the info. Maybe I can start a weekly Hot 100 thread (like they do on Pulse).

 

The fact that we have to wait until Monday (when half of the next tracking week is already over) for the results is stupid. Why can’t Billboard just release the Top 10 on like Friday or Saturday, like every other country?

This is missing the numbers from the instrumental version of LMU right? That would add another 1M I believe (400k 1st day, didn't chart the rest of the week (?)).

Maybe it's for the better that LMU doesn't debut at #1. I mean if it debuts at #2 people will only laugh at her/Disney/Navy because their antics didn't work and everything will be forgotten in a month or so. But if she somehow manages to debut #1 while the song is sinking on streaming platforms people will start calling her fraudulent, desperate, corrupt, manipulative, and a lot more things that could damage her long-awaited lead single and her reputation in the long run.

Lol literally nobody talks about chart logistics in the real world....no one will be be aware of how the song gets to #1 or #2. If anything, they'll just be aware of headlines i.e Rihanna debuts at #1 after long awaited comeback to music....anyways, the song will debut at #2 so no need for all the meltdowns

I think they’re annoyed because the song lowkey tanked on streaming after the first couple days and for it to #1 because of one of the biggest radio deals of all time is ridiculous

I think it's likely she takes it back with this current week (if Drake+Savage underperforms, and they may or may not due to the Megan backlash, idk how that's landing tbh) or the week after when Drake's album bomb clears out. What's there to stop her? Unholy doesn't seem to be doing much better than a distant second place at the current rate.

 

That's even if Rihanna overtakes her somehow, despite flopping on streaming.
