Mr. Stratus
This is very good for an OST and a ballad always has longevity vs. debut as they’re more GP consumed i honestly love this song and it’ll be a smash in France/Switzerland (where the other Oscar buzz ballad HMH was strong)

We forget no one is really that invested in soundtracks. If anything this shows she will do incredibly well with her lead.

Not a lead single release to usher in a new album or era, unlike with Swift where that was the case and with her releasing everything all at once after months of anticipation. We can compare them again in January when Rihanna begins the #R9 era.

JBJT2786
Imagine if the song helps bring up pre-sales for Wakanda Forever... Disney/Rih knew what they were doing with this. If this ends like Enchanto did too... Can't wait for ATRL to "switch" in two weeks.

istan4badgalriri
Adele (Easy On Me) & Taylor (Midnights tracks) are the only other female artists who topped 9M in a single day & Rih did that with a soundtrack single

Feanor
Not the "soundtrack single" excuses when this is #1 on TTH + cover (alongside 100M+ playlisting on first day, which is more than Anti-Hero or Easy On Me's day 1 playlist reach) and the massive radio deal. Not to mention the comeback hype… What other soundtrack singles had a bigger streaming and radio push than some top artists' lead singles? OT: Nice numbers, although I expected more given all the circumstances. It'll probably have longevity once the movie is out tho.
