The main reason this caught my attention was bc the Jesus line is unrelated to anything the song is really talking about in all of the examples where it’s included … very odd

It's the first time i've noticed such thing too.

 

I'm actually curious to find out how the song sounds like and how that title will make any sense with the lyrics... at least it sounds controversial but it might be limited to the title. Just like Problématique (the song) which people thought it would be highly messy but turns out there was nothing wrong with it

The absolute worst thing this can be is Travis Barker MGK’d Avril-lite cheesy Demi pop “rock” so fingers crossed this really does sound like The Prodigy because that would be incredible. She needs edge to her music. Songs like Icy, Personal Hell, even Do Me have a slight edge that I wish she would capitalize on instead of the boring down the middle pop route the leaks were

I think there's 0 chance, she also said she was taking influences from german techno too... unless Republic made her change the direction por a possible hit

 

But yeah, the pop punk revival was nice at first but now it's getting tired

Yes! My only concern is that it won't sound like a hit, and it would be nice (actually, it would be necessary) for her to get one. Unless they're gonna treat this as a sort of re-introduction to a new era.

 

Even though this is just speculation, the song may be a banger or it could work based on controversy or an edgier approach.
