It’s certainly interesting, but not really in a good way :rip:

If you all complain about how she tricked us of 70s aesthetic, that will make more sense

But to complain the sound and the melody? It sounds fine. This btch has delivered this kind of songs before and the genre is Pop, so there is at least enjoyable part of any song

Karma lyrics are so cvnty. Imagine hating it

It's literally the new Blank Space. So tongue-in-cheek and self-aware.

haven't listened yet but from the meltdowns I think the problem is:

a) jack is a solid yes-man. I love his work but he's a loyal producer who doesn't challenge or push his artists, not unless they ask him to, a la folklore

b) taylor doesn't know how to write good, "quill pen," fictional songs without going folk or to thesaurus dot com

c) she didn't learn the lesson that abandoning pure pop is better for the project & her career. the 70s rock would've been a HIT but pop is her crutch

d) she got cocky after the critical acclaim & large fanbase for folklord and evergod

Vigilante **** is... Interesting. Definitely the most different song she ever mad. I love Billie's debut so I like the sound.

I would've swapped Mastermind and Sweet Nothing tho, Sweet Nothing feels more like an album closer

Some of you saying the album has stared to age poorly 1 day before it's even released :gaycat6:

This album is 70s, not as in the decade, but as in it take you 70 seconds to skip through it. Forgettable.

No sis, we're supposed to join the bandwagon and pretend its the worst thing ever because it's more fun or something

No one is complaining that it's pop. It's just mid with cringey lyrics.

Karma is the first one I'm kinda vibing with minus the chorus lyrics

Why people blaming the producer? Maybe your girl just made a bad album

bc he co-wrote 11 of the songs. not to say Taylor didn't make the album what it is, but Jack is a key part of it as well.

I am not listening to the leak, but the last time people got this divisive with a Taylor Swift Album was reputation and that was my favorite album of her. So I feel it that i will definitely like this album :jonnycat:

Feeling very mixed on first listen... Lana's waste of a feature was a tragedy... Anti-Hero is great however a smash is coming
