I'm biased towards those peaks I've actually experienced (mid 2000s and beyond). With that said, probably Gaga's peak.

Mariah remains the the only artist with two Billboard Songs of the Decade based on decade only sales :gaycatina1:

 

But yes, there are songs that sold more in the 90s - especially when recalculated with subsequent years' data.

Happy for her! Even though Billboard is local and one got revoked as you acknowledged, a win is a win :clap3:

 

I'd rather have two global female song of the decades if I'm being honest but it shouldn't take away other's accomplishments :chick1:

It was not revoked, sis. They made a new series with different methodology for each decade include sales and streams until the present. They said so themselves.

 

Who had two global female songs of the decade? What does that have to do with Mariah's accomplishments? As if she doesn't have enormous global classics.
