I don't get the hate for Camila. 

I'm not a stan, not a fan either, but she does have a few really good pop songs. I listened to her album and I really liked 4 or 5 songs.

That would have required a large number of people to watch Cinderella in the first place

 

I don't think the public remembers her for much other than "Havana" and "Senorita". She never established a deeper connection the way Ariana did. Her core fanbase was always fairly limited, even with a huge #1 hit that put her on the map as a solo artist her debut album only managed 60k pure first week (in early 2018 when sales were way better), and that was the peak of her career.

 

She gets top promo but the public tunes out. They're just not buying her act, sound, persona, etc. It's not clicking for them and not making them become fans and want to hear her music.

 

Sometimes it's like that. Not everyone has that magic alchemy of personality, persona, and product that creates a big, lasting fanbase.

That’s not good but at the same time Camila Cabello has never been an albums artist. She’s selling singles.

Shocked that this is debuting lower than CRASH (also CRASH >>> Familia). Were vinyls available for sale in the first week? I feel like vinyls are playing a increasingly bigger part in fuelling physical sales

My oh my, I would be surprised but this really seemed like it was going to go this way. I was at least expecting her to match Romance considering all of the "hype" and the fact that her fans claim that Bam Bam is this huge rising hit. It seems that there is just no demand for her.

This is what's it's beginning to look like. Two big hits that came from collaborations, but not converting pop radio listeners and Spotify playlist listeners into dedicated fans. Her touring stats look decent in her first era, but a lot of the shows in following years are promo events or supporting other artists.

It looks like she had one proper tour and this year she will be supporting Shawn for at least one more show and then supporting Coldplay for a few shows. The main Coldplay support acts for big shows in North America and Europe are H.E.R. and London Gammar.

Nope. Her manager was even encouraging fans to buy digital albums instead because the vinyls won't count for its debut
