Just got back from seeing No Hard Feelings. Very funny, kinda heartwarming.

I'm not very good at giving ratings, but I guess I'll give it an 8/10.

What Happened to Monday - 8.5/10

Creative but some of the moments at the end could've been better. It's one of those endings that don't make any sense if you think about it for more than 2 minutes. Still enjoyable though.

I recently saw Renfield and Ghosted on streaming. Renfield was okay for a one-time watch; Ghosted-- I wish I never bothered with.

I also streamed Terrifier 2-- now that's a great horror that does what it promises! FX just can be dodgy as well as acting (as times) probably due to a minimal budget.

The Seven Year Itch 5/10

The storyline was mid but I love seeing the 1950s in color

Malcolm X 6/10

Even though this movie was long af the ending seemed rushed

Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny 8/10

I had so much fun watching this, perfect end to the franchise

Double Indemnity 10/10

I promise you there wasn't a dull moment, why couldn't all movies be like this?:jonny3:

Free Guy - 7/10

A cute sci-fi parody of GTA + Fortnite mixed with some cringe acting and AI bullshіt. Pretty OK for one watch.

Zola - 7.5

Spoiler

(I'd up it to an 8 if it had, you know, an actual ending. :rip:)

I never read the Twitter thread this was inspired by, so this whole movie was a TRIP for me. Loved the use of the Insta filter aesthetic, and the Stefani interlude was hilarious. :dies:

Ex Machina - 8.5

Spoiler

That ending... holy ****. Throughout the movie, I kept expecting some big Nathan-related plot twist, while ignoring the obvious manipulation that was hapenning.

It's interesting that AI, in this movie, isn't portrayed as some omnipotent being who will take over humankind. She is what she learns and does everything in her power for self-preservation. It felt like a very realistic approach to the theme.

Interstellar - 10/10.

A masterpiece. I'm such a sucker for space sci-fi movies, so this one is right up my alley! Loved every second of it and I'm definitely gonna be rewatching it in the future! :heart2:

Queen Anne Hathaway mothered as always :jonny5: Her chemistry with the main character was amazing!

Babylon - 10/10 (cult classic, what a movie)

Good Time - 9/10 (intense from start to end)

Blade Runner 2049 - 6/10 (so tedious, almost fell asleep. main premise was great, the execution was terrible)

Barbie - 8/10 (appreciate the architectural & costume design, iconic moments, decent story story, message too hamfisted imo, enjoyed it tho)

Nimona - 9/10 (hit me right in the feels)

Joy Ride - 7/10 (pretty funny, too ridiculous at some points, despise one character)

Dungeons & Dragons - 8.5/10 (underrated popcorn flick, so fun)

Glass onion - 8/10 (murder mystery is always welcome, although a bit predictable)

Strange Magic (2015): I watched this one with my partner and they said it was so bad that it's kinda good. Pretty much agree with that. Some of the pacing/cuts was an absolute mess, but the animation was pretty.

We Need to Do Something (2021): This was... fine... but the parallels between the literal/psychological and supernatural elements were a bit difficult to understand without watching an explanation and/or thinking about it deeper. I actually have a desire to read the novella.

Next up are Clock (the Hulu original film) and Barbie in no particular order. I am currently in the process of re-watching the Saw franchise in preparation for X. I'm doing it with my partner who has only seen the first one before this and next up is IV.

Searching - 5/10

Started off nicely but the final twist sucked so bad it ruined the whole impression :(

I hate plot twists that are done just for the shock value
