I guess celebrities can only be one thing, either angels or evil to no end. She can be nice and still have her rude moments, like everyone on this planet. She has a falling out with her organ donor and that’s all they need to come to the conclusion that she is this horrible ***** who somehow hides it well and has done so for almost 20 years. They just want her to be bad to justify the hate and dislike for her. It’s that simple.

I know why people are mad. one thing about selena is that since she's been very relatable and likeable basically since day 1 of her career, is that her public image is so associated with her personality and not her work (acting/music/producing/business) i think she was finally changing this before the doc -- with rare beauty, OMITB, revelacion. now it's "united" again, unfortunately. it will always be united, for everyone, but with selena i just feel like it's more than with other artists (!!) because a lot of people liked her CUZ of her personality, it's like a reverse psichology for other artists, personality matters OFC but the work matters more, with selena sometimes it seems that like it's not this way, her personality is what matters the most. for ex Bieber a lot of people think he's shitty but still listen to his songs.. either way having a hit song with a successful business AND a successful and acclaimed show will still always be higher than the hate, even with her. a bigger separation like we finally had before the doc would be appreaciated tho, so let's hope we come back with the "before the doc" mindset when i was finally seeing most people liking her for her work not only her personality.

We know she has always wanted this and this is her first lead nom in a relevant award show (sorry Critics Choice). Plus we don’t know if the HFPA will **** it up again and be canceled for good so she better take this opportunity. And I know I sound stupid and time is money but they would just lose like two days of filming. It is a bummer that they are held on a Tuesday and that a Sunday is better for everyone but it is what it is. Hulu and everyone else already knew they would be on Jan 10 for months and also knew the series and Martins at least would get nods so why did they deliberately set the start of filming the day before? Anyways, praying everyday; many actors and directors will be there and going to both the show and afterparties could be great exposure for her.
