What the heck. I watched that auto-tuned Charlie Puth performance for no Mariah afterward?!

And that NYSOM rendition was so monotonous and bland. Good Lord.

Not a clip of her singing someone else's song.

This is actively doing harm to the planet.

The reactions from the crowd.

It's the tone and delivery that's jarring. She's making it sound like we should hear about it but she's decided not to because we misbehaved and don't deserve it ?

The crowd chanting Mariah while Rosie O'Donnell and ha pal talk about the gays.

Her set being heavily edited, the 9/11 comment not airing.

Welp.

She got them to cut the part before the rant :ahh:

Tanaka is so fine.

Her tone sounds good. Not as phlegmy and metallic as it does on recent records. WBT climax was a little frenetic, though.

I'm guessing she had too much time backstage waiting and drank her net worth in alcohol trying to make the bleakness pass.

Here's the 911 speech. She offered context and she seemed a little nervous acknowledging her involvement in the post-911 fundraisers. The clip makes it seem more awkward than it was.

Oh they edited? So this speech was after that? Guessing she sounded nervous talking about it because she realized she segued into it way too awkwardly.

She did sound pretty good in Zero I have to say

Not us believing the Bb4 was live

Her tone hasn't sounded this good in a long time. She just needs to get some of her upper-range confidence back. Her mid-range actually sounds healthy and relaxed.

Everyone leaving after Mimi's set :dies:

Along with ABMB.

a MESS.

If you compare the tone here to her iHeartRadio performance tone, it's like night and day. No scratchiness, no dryness, and she actually sounds like an appropriately aged version of her own voice.

Let us ignore that WBT lipped climax that no human could produce because it's just way too fast to get any breath in to achieveme that effect. Mimi, plz!

Tea. Her agility improved a little, too.

Her voice is still never going to be fully healthy-sounding again unless she has (risky) surgery, but you can tell she at least is taking better care of it. I'm just glad she's embracing her new range.

That speech was pretty awkward. She seemed like she was ready for another breakdown
