It leaked and we were saying how generic and bad it sounds. Good for a leaked song, not good for a lead. We couldn't believe that song would be the lead. Then the MV happened which was also terrible. 1

But in everyone's defense, this was her pop comeback in 4 years, and some people would still be bopping if she released a 3-minute recording of her farts (which isn't a far description from SL btw )

Maybe this was the exact vibe on ATRL, but on Twitter and GGD where I was, and most fans are - they lived for the demo and wanted the final to be different bc they hoped for some ounce of surprise after ruining it. and yeah the video was generic but doing thing like trashing the fact it was shot on an iPhone after no one could tell until they were told??
