Gaga is not who she used to be. The gp, especially Gen Z and teenagers won't be tuning in. they just don't care about her or her music and that's the reality. I see LG7 doing Joanne numbers and getting like a 78 on Metacritic. Who cares honestly? It'll be cute if we get a hit or two but in the music climate rn, it's almost completely unpredictable. The snippets we got do not sound like hits. They sound really fun though. We're getting new music and one that seems to be quite exciting too, let's focus on that. Gaga's rich af and a touring force, she'll be fine. 5 2

Things were already going downhill with Chromatica and House of Gucci, but Joker was the final nail in the coffin. I would be surprised if she is ever able to chart on the Hot 100 again now that she's Hollywood's Most Unwelcome. We had a good run guys. Edited October 11 by HausOfPunk 1 13

Yzma Posted October 11 Posted October 11 (edited) I'm expecting LG7 to open with less than 143 If it does more than that then its a hit, if not... well, we had a good run! Edited October 11 by Yzma

This movie was doomed from the start from a public perspective tbh The critics are a bit surprising tho, to say the least, and a little embarrassing - for said critics that is. You cannot tell me that this is worse then most of the crap Marvel has been putting out, not on any metric. Imo the movie suffered from having a sequel that is not needed. At all. The acting is good, the cinematography is good, the music is good. But the story itself is god awful. Not because it was Spoiler Revealed that Arthur was not THE joker But because nothing really happened in the story. It's basically the same as the first Joker. Except there's Harley and the said Harley is a waste of a character. Edited October 11 by FailSafe 1

Why are these strangers above talking about her flopping? Go visit Spotify chart website please. Edited October 11 by duybeeGAshantiGA 1

The point is to deconstruct Joker and Arthur and see who he really is after the first movie. I don't know why some of you still insist this movie is pointless. It has a theme and it explored that theme, it's not pointless. You can argue it didn't execute that theme well, but it has a point. God franchises movies really have rotten many audience's brain. If you're a comic/Joker fan and just want to see the typical Joker action movie there are already load of those. If it went anywhere like those then that's truly pointless. 4
