Janet Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Slightly off topic but some people on this app are so delusional dddd. The hundreds of ppl agreeing with them too? 4
PerfectCure Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Could Girlfriend (Weekend) be coming on October 4th to coincide with Joker so that all eyes would actually be on her?
Human Fly Posted September 7 Posted September 7 DWAS looking more and more like to go #1 on Hot100 during Oct 4-10 tracking week. Radio should be above 40M+ by then 3

Human Fly Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Spotify update was kinda off for friday songs barely rised in streams or decreased but it was national book day or smth ? 1
kwek_kwek Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Weird spotify update that songs are decreased on a Friday. Still amazing numbers for DWAS.
Hurem Posted September 7 Posted September 7 These numbers are insane, I LOVED the song on the first listen but I couldn't imagine the GP would eat it up this hard 6

If she was Dua she would do it 100%. i kinda hope so unless she has another project she can attach it too. I dont want such a massive smash which is capable of collecting her tons of SPS units to just go to waste tbh. This may become her biggest hit in well over a decade...

Also The Weeknd might drop any week. 1

Unless it really starts lagging, I dont see Taste blocking it on the Hot 100.

For comparison DWAS: KIIS 1 spin Z100 1 spin as of now today Taste: KIIS 1 spin Z100 1 spin as of now today Sabrina's previous singles payola is way too much, radio needs to drop them first to focus on Taste. + Her main format is Pop radio and pop radio only. So her rise to above 30M+ audience is at least 2-2.5 months away. DWAS getting played a lot on 3 formats and that will easily help her. Another note, Taste music video is dying while DWAS mv still pulling over 2M views and its stronger on US amazon + itunes. 1

Ariana is not even a respected or award winning actress and they think they're giving her a third of the budget? Jesus Christ. This isn't delusion, it's stupidity. 59 minutes ago, SweetOreosOfHeaven said: Since there's so much distance between the first single and the album release it's clear they are gunning for multiple hits. Whether they manage to achieve that goal is a different story but Gaga seems much more confident this time around. I think as for the lead single (and I guess singles in general) they need to strike a balance between commercial appeal but also something that is quintessentially Gaga and doesn't get lost in the mix. As someone else said and I agree, an anthemic chorus is a must. The visuals are also incredibly important to get the song going, in my opinion. Both SL and PI lacked a great chorus that makes you sing along and noteworthy visuals (SL mv in particular was so beneath her standarts, it's insane). I guess even if the lead doesn't work out they have some surefire collaboration planned for later on (probably The Weeknd), but I'd really love to see this era starting off on the right foot, and for a Gaga solo song to shine. They had a lot of time to plan and since she's feeling so inspired there really is no excuse this time around. I'm somehow confident and nervous simultaneously. The gap may be to account for the Christmas freeze. That'll take two months off the gap which then technically means only a two month gap from single to album. I'm curious to see what they'll do to keep hope up during the Christmas time.
duybeeGAshantiGA Posted September 7 Posted September 7 DWaS will block LG7 lead from debuting at #1 then what

Coincidently in the last few weeks songs on spotify have peaked on tuesdays (DAWS included). Maybe it's related. 1

Those type of songs always smashed hard. 2
Human Fly Posted September 7 Posted September 7 But i'm sure her lead wont be a collaboration. She knows we want a solo song 3
Reginald Posted September 7 Posted September 7 Who broke the gif of the woman smoking/house exploding? Did liddos exceed the maximum bandwith?

Human Fly Posted September 7 Posted September 7 btw DWAS really giving me this random Mariah collaboration vibes that topped the charts out of nowhere right before Emancipation of Mimi era both peaked at #3 on Hot100 Her We blong together, shake it off upon us?
