LadyGagaChina Posted September 4 Posted September 4 Here's a rewind of the first joker movie's critics score after premiered in Venice: Metacritics: 74/100 (13 positive 4 mixed 1 negative) Jury Grid: 4/5 (2nd on the competition list) 2
LadyGagaChina Posted September 4 Posted September 4 I think an october Vogue cover is guaranteed for Ga. I saw ppl are discussing on TheFashionSpot but don't know which edition
nick4bty Posted September 4 Posted September 4 I have a feeling they're going to do a bit of a Sabrina rollout, two singles before the album and third with the album. Album release in late January/February With DWAS smashing and Joker, this could easily be her biggest career peak singles wise since TFM, and I think Interscope is pushing to make that happen with multiple songs charting and smashing at once 1
MadMax12 Posted September 4 Posted September 4 I hope Dance in the Shadow isn't the lead, it gives Perfect Illusion vibes 3

I think she's doing V Magazine with Klein for LG7 and US Vogue with someone else for Joker. Unless editions are sharing content and Klein shoot the whole editorial and a different photographer for the cover. 1

Coming from a super Gaga fan since 2008, I don't see it. However, I don't necessarily think she is aiming for smash chart topping hits. DWAS and Shallow were probably unprecedented with their performance. I don't think their team's were expecting them to perform like this. One can dream, that Gaga has a new spooky smash though. Thriller/Disturbia/Bloody Mary vibes that do well on the charts and then rise in Spooky szn 2
Solar Posted September 4 Posted September 4 that Venice premiere standing ovation metric is so random and specific u have to love it
jesus del rey Posted September 4 Posted September 4 The lead can also be coming a week before the album release? It'd give some legs to the lead while also making sure there is more hype built for the album and it'd be almost a "everything release at once" as Gags wished.
