I just want Gaga to be creative with her performances regardless of how people will perceive. I also think doing so would actually be benefitial in how people perceive her- but that's not my main reason for wanting it. If I knew she would flop by taking bold and creative choices I'd still want it. I'm not sure what you mean by "how people perceive her" though? She doesn't need any help with that, the public perceives her as an incredible once in a generation type of artist who is versatile and extremely talented, the only people who are perceiving her badly is a section of her own fanbase. She's slayed the audiences with her vocals for years now, can we bring back fun and energy along with the vocals? Sure, go watch the GAGA CHROMATICA BALL movie on Max. The Olympics are not a Gaga show. 4 minutes ago, ToniGaga96 said: what a great performance A fun, energetic performance... that her fans hated because she wasn't backed by twelve dancers doing the same dated choreography she's been doing for 15 years. 3 minutes ago, BlondUnicorn said: Love this cover??!

Infernal Paradise Posted July 25 Posted July 25 The new issue of Empire takes a world-exclusive deep-dive into the Joker movie that few saw coming – going behind bars with Joaquin Phoenix, Lady Gaga, and Todd Phillips to get immersed in Joker: Folie À Deux's perfect delusion. Inside, we learn about the film's unexpected musical inspirations, its all-new conception of Harley Quinn, its fresh perspective on Joker himself, and why it had to break all the rules to become a story worth telling. Plus, it's packed with brand new images, giving you ultimate access to a comic-book sequel like you've never seen before. 8

Ultimately, I think this is all a result of certain fans being too engrossed in stan/ATRL culture where they still believe Gaga has something she needs to prove to the public because all they ever see is pathetic stans whacking her for everything she does lol. As you said, the public actually likes Gaga now and views her positively. 4

Well, I'm not the union leader. I only speak for myself, and I love her energy and voice in this performance. I've never cared about what others think. 1 1

I loved the Metallica performance. That was also almost 7 years ago, you're kind of proving the point. I get it's the Olympics, but she could choose something from her own catalog of music. If other people enjoy her constantly doing these covers of old jazz songs, that's great, I don't. Edited July 25 by judaskills 1
