I really hope all this hype she building means she actually dropping music soon and it doesn't go to waste because after Olympics if all she does is just promote jfad. We'll miss Gaga….. :rip:

I don't think she will focus much on LG7 tbh. I can see her dipping once the album is released. At most we'll get a Zane Lowe interview, a music video and maybe a performance.

So I am once again watching the new trailer and outside the great cinematography and twisted use of romantic musical cues, the soundscape throughout both teasers is truly knock it out of the park chills of excellence, and it makes me so excited to see what Hildur and Gaga have been cooking for this.

Hoping it's shown in front of Deadpool when I see it this weekend :WAP:

Opening is always a formal event plus showcasing the host.. Closing is more like the PARTY Vibes and introduction of the next host

She should've been in the Closing Ceremony idk

Yeah, this will accentuate & underlines Gaga's accent... not ready for the nasty comments from the French.

But maybe she took French lessons for the performance.

More people showing up to her hotel after she secretly arrived in Paris than showed up to Katy's hotel after she made everyone aware where she was. :jonnny:

(ok sorry, I really shouldn't beat a dead horse)

While I do agree that she should be using this as a way to be like, "I'm coming back", the idea that hype from one project will carry into another makes no sense. What about performing La Vie En Rose at the Olympics would build hype for LG7? Serious question.

On the sports competition side, 2024 olympics is probably the messiest in decades. The scandals, the withdrawals, the football chaos last night… :rip:

And the opening ceremony hasn't even started.

About Gaga performance: "The star should even open the show in a location which has not yet been leaked but which will be along the Seine"

Surely Celine will sing in French, and Gaga in English? There's no need for them to both sing in the same language

they always have French first at the Olympic ceremonies, followed by an English translation

Everyone in France speak english with a perfect accent? Why it is so bad to have and accent and pronounce only few words bad? It is a global event, not a french event.

At least she is making the effort to sing a song in their language.

I hope she sings shallow or always remember us this way.

I'm very surprise because this morning, the French press/tv (Le Parisien, Telematin, JeanMarcMorendini ect) is not talking about a Gaga & Céline duet, they only say Céline Dion will perform "Hymne à l'amour" at the end of the ceremony to the Eiffel tower, and Gaga will sing at the start of the ceremony along the Seine, but without details about the song.
