This gif cracks me up hard. :dies:

It's like a Puberty Gaga figuring out themselves before growing up into Adult Gaga.

Yeah, I'm convinced this fan event isn't happening.

It's probably just gonna end up being a Haus and influencer thing.

This blatant lie. ArtRave is her worst tour by miles. It had a few cute moments but most of the outfits looked bad and you could tell she was emotionally jarred at the time.

The fact that she closed out the show with this mess that included sneakers. :rip:

It's not a lie. How can someone's preference be a lie?

The artRAVE was a fun and entertaining experience, although it was somewhat chaotic and messy... VERY MESSY. However, it remained faithful to the underlying concept of the tour. The stage design was remarkable, and the overall performance was thoroughly enjoyable. :michael:  But, that's just my opinion, and I totally get that you might see it differently, and that's cool.

The Chromatica Ball was very good in concept, but in reality, it just didn't work (for me) as a stadium tour. The show had nothing to do with the album, the planet, the tribes etc. The stage was boxed in between screens and was really enjoyable only from specific spots in the audience.

+ I hated the setlist order

Was Gaga great? Yes, as usual.

The best parts of the tour (visually) were the interludes. Amazing. Sadly, I couldn't see the majority of them because of the stage.

In the end, even if the artRave felt cheap, it had the stage, the lighting, and the mood to elevate the whole show.

The CTB felt cheap because of the stage, no props, very static, and not really any fun moments.

It's okay if you like the CBT more. We don't have to agree, but it's my opinion not a lie; it's just how I feel.

I actually prefered the esthetic of the tour for Chroma than what she tried to do with the mvs...

like the whole brutal esthetic made sense with the core subjects of the album: trauma, depression and healing

yes the stage wasn't adapted for the stadiums AT ALL and the boxed stage didn't make it possible for her to increase the avg tickets per venues in certain cities bc of that

It's all good, I'm glad others enjoyed the show.

I didn't hate TCB staging but I would say as a general rule I'm kind of anti-stadium tours anyway. I prefer the indoor setting of an arena. Also they don't really work where I live in the world. :skull: I'll be seeing Taylor 2 weeks on Friday and at this time the show will have already been ongoing for a while and it's still light out. I saw TCB in Miami so that wasn't an issue then but yeah I'd be happy to have her just do another arena tour. I understand the logic of why a stadium tour is popular for artists though. Less dates with the same pay-off as doing more arena shows.

I mean yes everyone's entitled to their own preferences :heart2: and that's also what makes it amazing

the JWT stage was her best for an arena tbh she really made sure everyone could see her at some point

I still believe Taylor used the same thing for reputation tour35763-cover.jpg

I wish she toured JWT, ChromaBall, Artrave or even Enigma in Latin America :rainy:, why does she hates us?

What are the chances of Gaga doing a visual album for lg7? Billie just released all the visuals for every track in her new album. It made me delusional believing that maybe interscope might do the same thing for Gaga? Especially because the label wanted to do a similiar rollout for Gaga LG7 like they did Billie new era.

I think it's a safe assumption that TCB's budget was lower due to it always being a much shorter tour, even before the pandemic. Hence the simplier stage. Also doesnt help that Gaga was one of the first major acts doing a worldwide tour post lockdown, so there might have been fear that interest and ticket sales took a hit. So lower budget, less to recoup in case people didnt turnout.

There was simply no reason to spend lot of money for a 20 dates tour, it was a way to test the waters to see if she was able to sell bigger venues and also when it comes to her health issues since she was coming from the cancellation of the JWT, if her health keeps remains strong, the next one is definitely gonna be longer in first with more dates and bigger budget-production.

Coming from the chaotic-messy 'Enigma' show, I personally appreciated the minimalistic direction of the Chromatica Ball.

i'll always remember the first time listening this all the way. with a title like "heavy metal lover" i expected something like bad kids or highway unicorn - something arena rocky, but instead hit with euphoric electronic club bliss
