Pikachoo Posted May 9 Posted May 9 it's crazy to think about, but Gaga could not have physically existed before the year 1920. that's when the last of her great grandparents moved to America from Italy. but Cynthia Germanotta's father's family has been in the US for hundreds of years. which means she her parents could have only met in America, since Cynthia is half italian only. which means it would have been physically impossible for Gaga to be born before that year unless her american grandfather somehow visited Italy before 1920 and met the germanotta family. so weird 2

Pikachoo Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Just now, ViviLittleM said: lol i know it's confusing but i'll try to explain it better her great grandfather, Antonino Germanotta (from Nose, Sicily) immigrated to NY in 1904. her grandmother Angelina's parents only moved to NY in like 1920. The Germanotta family was NOT PHYSICALLY IN AMERICA UNTIL 1920. But Cynthia's father Paul Douglas Bissett, has been in America for centuries. It would have been physically impossible for the Bissett Family to meet the Germanotta family any time before 1920 since they were on two different continents in 1920. Whereas someone like Alessia Cara, whose parents were born in Italy in the 60s, means that she could have physically existed before 1960 since both her parents families were in Italy and thus could have met.

Very much agree with that last part. Im not in any other fandom so I don't know, maybe they do get those critiques, but I notice it with Gaga on so many occasions, I believe with every thing she has realised since 2020 there has been some kind of hypocrisy or false concern over her releasing stuff while other things are happening, but then when she doesn't release, its also bad 2

They believe they and their goddess are the moral police
SharGaga Posted May 9 Posted May 9 Ew what's Shea' s deal with Gags? I know this isn't the first time. Gives off bitter queen vibes. 2 1
LuneMon Posted May 9 Posted May 9 People are dying, why is she posting stuff about beyonce's hair? Such a hypocrite. 3 3

Sorry, they didn't spill at all. It doesn't matter if someone simultaneously tweets about social issues and enjoys new content or not, it's stupid to pin a person's morality on what they tweet about. If you don't tweet about rising sea temperatures every day, does that make you a climate change denier? See how dumb that sounds? Usually liddos/fanbases in general are paranoid about people being "haters1!!!1" but Shea gives me major bitter vibes towards Gaga lmao. As many people have pointed out the reasoning in itself doesn't make any sense but then there's also the fact that she *knew* the album is four years old and had to throw that jab there. It feels like she was just annoyed with the fact that people are excited about TCBf (she makes it clear she doesn't deem it worthy of excitment) and then had to come up with some legitimate morally grandstanding reason for that afterwards. Agreed, and I don't even get why. Shea was on the season and episode of Drag Race that Gaga starred as a guest judge. She legit got to meet Gaga one on one and everything. It's weird as hell that she needed to use her name for clout chasing. 2
