Finally a couple of songs stable above 400k daily (I remember complaining last year how most of her singles were below that mark, excluding her huge smashes). Also, ARUTW, the fact that it's just 100k below Shallow is incredible. I have a feeling it will eventually overtake it. Still, Born This Way, Rain On Me, Alejandro, The Edge Of Glory and You and I should be doing much more. Praying that they eventually pull a Papa. I really hope they work hard to make LG7 a streaming smash album. Not that she needs it, but that's kinda the only thing she is missing right now (ASIB is obviously huge on sreaming, but I would love to have a new studio record doing those numbers too). Yeah BTW and TFM (EP) will likely to cross 3B streams this year, which is a huge achievement.. Traumatica was really front loaded.. it could have been at 3B streams rn if they released more single..

ADPOP, JoADnne and ADmatica would all have better recurrent streams if they had 3 or 4 singles each. Sad how this amount of singles seem like a stretch for a Gaga era now. 1
Modern Ecstasy Posted March 15 Posted March 15 (edited) According to this page from 2023, her Chicago condo was on the market. So she either sold it in 2023, or before that and it was already up for sale again. Former residence of international popstar Lady Gaga! I’m guessing she doesn’t have another place in Chicago since she hasn’t been spotted there in quite a while. I wonder if she still has a place in NYC since we hardly ever see her there? I remember she sold her place in NYC years ago as well. I think she just has the mansion in Malibu, plus potentially another residence that I’ve seen people talking about that is more secretive. Puttanesca Posted March 15 Posted March 15 The way I just got multiple IG notifications and it was only people in my real life messaging me. Is it bad I was disappointed? 7
Happylittlepunk Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Yeah I understand Gaga is a successful actress but I really wish her new eras wasn’t less than 3 months these days. I’m not sure if in the streaming age a surprise album would work but idk I feel like it would be a good option.

Artur Posted March 15 Posted March 15 Realistically, do you guys think Gags has a chance of having another smash era? I don't mean it as shade. It's just that nowadays, most artists seem to either smash super hard, or completely bomb with their attempts. Most of her peers completely fade out too. On the other hand, she still has one of the biggest fanbases out there (and I also think that her name is more respected nowadays than it was a few years ago). Still, I don't know why, I can't see her having a Texas Hold'em, We Can't Be Friends or Flowers kind of hit, but I hope I'm wrong.

She can kiss a solo #1 smash goodbye if she keeps on releasing shitty leads like PIss and Stupid Bomb. Oh and keep the studio vocals soft, relaxed and POP. She's doing a massive disservice to her works by shouting and screaming with their studio versions. She's free do that with live performances. Good melody is also very important. 8

We get it, Gaga prefers "raw" vocals but she always has the chance do to that with live performances. I, too, am tired of that. Just keep the STUDIO version polished and smooth, that's literally the only thing I'm asking for LG7. Chromatica itself proves that she can still do those smooth pop vocals AND she can make her high notes sounds pleasing without her screaming into the mic- literally LOVE ME RIGHT is there: pleasing tone AND pleasing high notes.

Judging by the producers she's been working on, we are probably getting something louder next, though. Still, I can't really see her smashing with pop music again unless it's with some gorgeous unavoidable ballad like ARUTW. Maybe I feel this way because it's been a while since we saw her having a pop song as a single with an organized promo run. Edited March 15 by Artur

I think Gaga will always have a chance to get smash hits as long as Gaga focuses on delivering high-quality music and delivers the vision she wants fully. I think a star is born soundtrack proves that. When she was creating that soundtrack she wasn’t writing with the thought of smashing on the charts or creating something radio friendly. Considering it was a 4th remake nobody within the fanbase and go was expecting the music too smash. Yet it smashed massively. Compared to chromatica where imo where she was thinking of delivering tik tok and safe pop songs yet the gp didn’t connect and fan reactions were mixed despite her return with dance music. Meanwhile as time passed fans enjoyed her more experimental songs on chromatica like 911, Babylon, replay, sour candy etc. instead of her more safer songs like rain on me, stupid love, free woman etc. which imo it shows fans and the gp alike have certain expectations for Gaga when it comes to pop music. I understand it’s a lot to expect Gaga too push the boundaries visually and musically every new album but because Gaga promoted herself a certain way early in her career and proven her musical talent people at a bare minimum I think they expect Gaga to deliver high quality music. 3
